Celebrity reporter interactions are awful comparisons.
Celebs have maximum status and reporter are just reporters. Also a lot of these interviews are rehearsed to generate maximum publicity. Reporters love it, producers love it because it gets on headlines.
Also it's being filmed which has been know to create a huge bias since people are very careful to not show any negativity in fear that they will be chastised especially when faced with a celebrity.
Squaring up, eye contact and vocal projections are not tricks they are just normal things to do if you are talking to someone. Imagine talking to someone if you are not facing them, not making eye contact, and they can't hear you. They will think you have Asperger's or mentally disabled.
A lot of people here seem to think every thing is a technique. No, it's just the normal shit to do smh. C'mon people!

You say that these are normal things to do, and you're not wrong, but this guy tried posting this already earlier today and ended up deleting it because he started getting comments like "ackhchyually, smart women don't like this".
So yes, this is basic, but it seems a lot of people still need to be educated... :/

Some celebrities are naturally seductive, some have learned it from being coached, and some are terrible at interviews and talk shows.
There is a video out there somewhere ... I think it's an old Richard La Ruina (Gambler) talk. He says, look at David Beckham interviews from when he first became famous. He looked and acted like a chode ... but then got coached and now he looks and sounds really smooth.
Most top actors on major productions can look and act pretty cool on film. Partly due to training and partly because the director will make them re-take until they stop acting like a dork. You have yoir famous examples like Brand and David Duchovny, but in almost any romantic film you'll see the hero has great body language and eye contact.
Voice projection: this is still on my to-do list but a great tip I heard is to find someone like a celeb or TV personality who speaks well. Play back their voice and imitate their tone, breathing and accent. An Aussie PUA coach said he smoothed off his unintelligible 'Strine accent by copying an ABC news reader until he sounded better.

Just watched the first few seconds with no sound. Hamm has great hair (depending on your taste) and the IDGAF attitude is not bad either.
Since those are all wannabe actors on the show I assume that they get a lot of coaching and direction, so they probably are told to "act" and they can't be totally IDGAF.
Seriously look at that girl ... a PUA would be all ... really? Unless you give the world's best BJs I'm gonna disqualify you like crazy. Checking his phone and telling the other chodes, good luck bro.

He played Don Draper on Mad Men which sparked a late-00s resurgence in the handsome, lone-wolf alpha in primetime dramas. I wouldn't be surprised if his appeal was part of the reason we saw characters like Hank Moody pop up a couple years later.
Give it another chance with sound. He's clearly a little nervous and I don't think he's as confident in what he can offer as, say, the first contestant.
But if you have a chance, see any interview of his from the past few years. Other than consistently playing the handsome heartthrob, he has crazy comedic chops and is legitimately charming.

How long should you make eye contact? I've used it before and it's definitely the bread and butter but some girls keep looking like a psychopath 😂 and I usually break away. Would recommend looking like a weirdo until they break away or just stare into them 10-15 and then smile and go for it?

Eye contact with who? If it's a random girl, you'd better approach asap or you look like a weirdo. Stranger passing by? Just keep eye contact and smile or nod until you pass each other, shouldn't take too long. A date? Maintain eye contact as much as possible, looking occasionally at her lips and maybe her body once you've kinod a bit. The context matters a lot.

Look at their shoes and back at their eyes, most of the time they look away. Works 60% of the time, every time. No, seriously, it works.
But i had few instances where a girl looks at me for the whole bus ride, without blinking! So i either do that and if that doesnt work i start a staring contest and smile.

Don't look at her shoes dude, obviously by breaking eye contact she's going to move on and look away. Don't look down, that's super passive. Just look elsewhere, at someone else, your friends, the sky, the architecture around you; anything but down.

What about in class? Same thing applies. If you're staring at a girl endlessly and not approaching it's creepy. Since it would be difficult to approach in class, don't stare. Making eye contact is fine. You lock eyes, smile, then focus on your lecture.

99% of my wings when I see them approach, they approach from the side, looking shaky and apologetic. I am the only one that is very confrontational among my peers..
