Child support is not between you and your ex and cannot be negotiated. It will not stand up in court. To court, child support is between you and your children. As they’re not 18, the state assumes the negotiating place as stand ins.

Only way I can think of is to give you 100% custody on paper (this will reduce your obligation). If she wants to get the house make sure you show some insanely high Zillow price and give discount off that

She can put zero child support and you give her a large sum in exchange. But she can immediately modify and put you on child support. You’ll go up to court say I gave her more equity in property division. And the judge will laugh at you and put you on child support.

Don't try it. It's a trap! Child support is an obligation to from parent to child, not parent to parent.

She can't sign away her rights to CS payments for the children.

Here is what will happen. She owes you $50,000 on the house. She signs forms to get you to sign away your claim to that $50,000 she owes you. You sign the quit claim deed.

And then guess what? The CS payments don't stop. You fell for it! Judge will say, "Any monies paid outside of the child support clearinghouse will be considered a gift."

Trying to terminate CS is a trap. Here's the deal: No matter what deal you make with her, she can take it to a judge later. And a judge will *always* implement CS according to the state's guidelines because the state receives financial benefits from the federal gov't for enforcing CS. So forget about using CS as a bargaining chip because it isn't one.
