European elections: Is there a party that cares about men?

First, I would vote. Your vote alone will not change anything, but if a lot of men remove themselves from the elections then our concerns/points of view are irrelevant.

Of course, all parties are power-hungry. It's literally the objective of a party, winning elections and governing, or at least getting enough votes to have some influence in a wider coalition.

Regarding who to vote, I think the parties less open to discrimination against men are the far right parties, although I personally don't vote for them for other reasons.

After that, all parties are in favor of discriminating against men, so it's a matter of degree. In general, the farther left you go, the more discrimination they favor.

I personally vote for a center-right party, but you should decide your vote however you like, taking into account the different issues you care about.

I don’t mind the concept of spoiling a vote. If everyone who doesn’t vote did that, then it would send the message “we are willing to vote… you had us in the booth, but you weren’t worth it, so work harder next time”.

I feel like no showing gives the vibe of “well that demographic doesn’t show up so let’s not even try cater to them”

In Germany there is Partei der Humanisten. The only party that supported us in protesting circumcision of boys. Nobody else have the guts and I want this human rights violation gone

No Matter what, definitely still vote. Even making it so your vote doesn't count towards any party is still better then not voting, because it shows that there aren't any good options and screws with the proportions, which makes it so the extreme parties get less by proxy.

Not voting is the worst thing you could possibly do. The less men vote, the less governments care about us. Political parties favour those who are willing to vote, such as women and the elderly. Go and vote. Vote for whoever that even slightly recognizes men's concerns.

Depends on the country no doubt. In Germany, FDP has some men's right issues in their platform: they are against conscription, and in favor of non-discriminatory rules for child support and paternity.

European parliament votes in blocks so if you are unsure vote for a party in a block you like and be done with it I think the biggest block is the conservative.

Basically local party alliances don’t apply at eu level but all local parties belong to a eu party block. Some parties might belong to the same coalition in country politics but in eu they are in different groups.

nope. chances are really good that there is no party that gives a shite bout men. idk the specifics of your country tho, so that may differ. but if it is at all like the US, there is a nascent but not yet effective movement on the right towards mens issues. unfortunately there are serious fascistic and anti-democratic elements on the right. much of the left still seems to be clueless bout men's issues, or even actively opposing them. but that's nothing new either.

i'd weight your options on merits aside from men's issues, and work towards instilling men's issues in both parties. which can be done by means other than voting, participating with your preferred party, and trying to get men's issues on the platform there.

Vote, because the people that don't like you will. Its free and its an occasion to make your voice heard, not by much but more than posting on a random subreddit.

Just two things:

First: Remeber to consider many aspect of each party, and not just their position regarding gender issues (althpugh openly feminist platforms aren't getting my vote).

Second: Culture and politics change, a lot, overtime. The cultural and political environment changed a lot in the last ten years, and will change again in the next ten and so on. Which direction and at what speed this change is gonna be depends on people decisions, me and you included.

The right wing is power hungry? The right wing has no power. The right wing is like a cop. He wants to make sure you know he's the boss of you, and he might rough you up a little bit. But he's too dumb to be power hungry. Just stay out of his way. The left wing is obsessed with you. They want to micromanage every aspect of your life because they are as fragile as can be, neurotic about losing their power because they know they're such a tiny and abusive minority that could easily be overthrown if people ever got wise.

Get rid of the left. But I wouldn't bother voting. That's all fake with mail in ballots.
