California divorce. I already know she wants 50/50 for assets so I did the math and have accepted the potential loss. She wants me to pick up child before and after school so she can work since I have flexible hours for my work and she cares for child after work. I obviously want half weekends and days off so it looks like 50/50 for physical custody which is all calculated out. The big issue is she wants 70% legal custody. There is no way she gets it unless I agree because I have no history of criminal behavior, abuse etc and my work hours allow me to contribute 50/50 and financially I’ve been contributing 100% since she chose to be a sahm. What can she do if I give it to her and what are the potential financial implications. I’m thinking she can relocate with child without my input and then force a 100% physical custody situation?
