My soon to be ex wanted to do the divorce through a fast DIY website and though I have access to view the document I've already been placed as the one to pay child support (because it only lets you select either or)

She's selected herself as the custodial parent

I have them in my insu which is $350 less than hers but she went ahead and got a quote from her insu to put them in her policy. (One of us will give up a policy at the end.)

We're doing 50/50 and so far we're great friends but she wants to be a succesful woman and was unhappy and masking

She makes $15k more than I do and though I'm not after any CS I also want things to be a bit more fair.

I want to go through something more professional since this type of website just gives me a bad vibe.

Mediation seems to be the way to go however the people I have called give me limited info since they're mediators themselves and want to remain neutral in case I hire them.

Wanted to get some info from those who have gone through this with decent outcomes.

The only area that we're having issues is with children, who pays what, etc because of the earning gap.
