Scarcity only makes something more valuable if people want it in the first place. I might make a unique, one-of-a-kind painting that nobody would be able to get anything like anywhere else, and still absolutely no one might be interested in buying it because maybe it's not very good.

I'm not saying you're "not very good" like my shitty painting. But making your attention a scarce resource/not being needy will only make people want you more if your attention already seems valuable. Maybe your attention is valuable, but you're not advertising it well enough to make yourself attractive.

A person who is conventionally attractive is going to have people seek their attention by default, but thankfully, there are more ways than just being born with looks to make yourself attractive. If you're not the hottest guy, maybe you can be the funniest, or the most interesting, or the best dressed, or the coolest, or something. Some kind of thing that makes people go "damn, I want his time and attention." Only when you have that will "not giving your attention away without it being earned" make your attention even more valuable.

I've not figured out how to do this, so this is the extent of my insight. Sorry.

Bear with me here, I'm going to hit you with some crazy shit. Treat women like humans. Like if you seen someone had a mutual intrest as you and you wanted to talk to them, maybe make a friend. If you just wanna tell somebody how attractive they are, do that. Either one of these has better results than expecting women to chase you.

Women respond alot better to someone who isn't shady as hell. Take me for example, I wouldnt dream of hitting the gym and I work on cars in south louisiana sweating my ass off. Basically you know damn good and well I don't have six figures and I enjoy ice cream just by looking at me. That being said, I can get like 60% of the phone numbers I ask for and probably get a meaningful hang out session out of 30% of those SOLEY because I'm just a respectful guy with good intentions. Toss in a couple of jokes and eye contact and we're tongue wrestling before you know it.

10/10 advice I wish I could have given my 18y/o self:

1.) don't try to be what they want. Be who you are and let them decide if thats what they want. 2.) Dont fall in love before you even know them 3.) Be patient

Charm and respect go a long way. Being sincere and not come off as sleazy. A lot of guys do things based on how they would want to be picked up ( or the stupid shit they see in porn) when women don’t work that way. Work on your presentation, make sure you’re clean and smell nice. Be the type of guy women want to be around and would feel safe being around and maybe, just maybe they will let you fuck them.

Girls are very afraid of hooking up at that age until they really get to know you through social circle. Go to the gym and work on your seduction. Not being needy is an ingredient, but there's a lot more to it than that.

Its probably because your 18, girls usually like older guys. When i was 18 i only had 2 bodies and didn’t get many girls but then in my early twenties i was able to get with girls a lot easier
