You shouldn’t hate yourself, and if you feel like doing self harm, you should try to seek help from your loved ones or from any emergency assistance services. You should also never feel bad about something that someone else does if you aren’t guilty of it yourself. Generalizing an individual based off of what someone else did because of similarities is never good, and can lead to things like racism and what not. Don’t dig yourself into a hole and make yourself feel bad, and if you need help or feel like you’re in a bad spot contact professionals.

Sure, there are people here who believe that women are all bad, but that isn't what the post about bad women are for. Women are not a collective.

Don't hate yourself- or love yourself, for that matter- because of what you are. Make your assessments, and judge accordingly, based on WHO you are. Are there terrible women out there? Yes. But you're not one of them- not any more than you choose to be, anyway.

Many of the complaints we make here are about men being assigned collective guilt for the actions of terrible men, simply because we share their gender- we don't want that for us, and we don't want that for you. If you're concerned about what you see, call it out. Remember that it's your decisions, not your attributes, that define you. If you don't like what you see women being these days, then show them how to do it right- be a shining example of what a woman SHOULD be. If you think girls are jerks, then the key isn't to cease being a girl, but to be one that isn't. The sexes need each other, and not just for reproduction, but psychologically; we're two sides of the same coin.

Two more things: first, it's true that sometimes posters here make ad hominem attacks against women as a collective; this is done out of frustration, not hatred- not that that makes it acceptable. You'd do well to not spend too much time online in general, but especially in political matters; it tends to depress people. You keep seeing horror stories, and eventually you start to think that's all there is in this world. It's not. There's love and laughter and garlic bread and chasing puppies through fields of wildflowers, too.

The second is this: there are a LOT of forces out there- people, movements, organizations, ideologies, etc.- that will try to make you feel weak and helpless; that there's nothing you can do to improve your world, or even your situation. They want you broken and powerless so you won't resist their enforcing their own will upon the world, and given that they feel their ideas can't stand on their own (why would they try to break you down otherwise?), their will isn't for anything good. Having a strong sense of self, and a keen understanding of your own morality, is the key to resisting that. Like Emerson said, "If I can be firm enough to-day to do right and scorn eyes, I must have done so much right before as to defend me now. Be it how it will, do right now. Always scorn appearances and you always may."

That means frequent reflection on, and examination of, your own actions. It's hard, and sometimes painful, and you'll occasionally find that you made a mistake and did wrong. When you do, go to those you wronged (if you can) and apologize. They may or may not forgive you, but being able to admit and correct your mistakes is key to being a good person.

The other cornerstone is building up your sense of yourself as an active force, and for this, I have a suggestion, one that's a LOT less abstract. Take a book you love, go to a quiet place, and record an audiobook of it (your phone very likely has a voice recorder feature, if your computer doesn't). Seeing the big task before you broken down into manageable steps, and adding chapter after chapter to the finished work, gives a sense of progress and accomplishment, and can help combat feelings of powerlessness- if you can do THIS; surely there are other things you can do, too! I know it sounds strange, but it's something you can do fairly easily and quickly (depending on the book; War and Peace will still take a while), it doesn't cost anything (assuming you have a copy of the book, or can get to a library), and it'll give you something you can look back on in darker moments and realize that you're not as weak as you feel.

It's ok to be confused about the world without thinking it's a bad thing. It just means you're aware of your own shortcomings, as we all should be as long as we can remember our strong points as well. If you don't think you have any, then come up with some, and make them real.

The women often brought up in this place are often the women without self-awareness that would allow them to remove their pride and ego from a situation so they can remedy it. It's something you can avoid doing, you're not doomed to repeat somebody else's mistakes simply because you share something in common. For these women, it is likely linked to their desire to be respected although they lack the capacity to make that work. For you, it could be something entirely different. The experience depends on your mindset and thought patterns.

Nobody hates you if you need time to figure things out for yourself. It's a long journey, not a race to see who is the most right, so take it a little easier.

Having little to no sexual interest could be due to a variety of things, including lacking certain areas of brain activity. It's not necessarily even a bad thing, it all depends on circumstances. At your age, it's probably not that big of a deal outside of what teens think about talking about these days, being worried about being the outcast, etc. Just avoid the topic or change it if it comes up. I imagine that part is hard but it's what you would need to do to avoid getting dragged along somewhere you don't want to go, whether it be physically or conversationally.

Look for a hobby like a sport to play, a book to read, an idea to follow through with, etc. Hobbies and interests will allow you to connect with the right people for you, and that likely has a strong connection with why you feel no sexual attraction towards pretty much everyone. You're wasting your time with people who are not interesting to you, but you also probably lack interests in general. Most likely, you are very self-aligned and have trouble being around people because you feel like you're faking something, faking that you're interested in being there maybe, but really sometimes there's no helping that two people just have too little in common and it's for the best to part ways if there's nothing else to do there.

Attraction is not always automatic, actually a lot of it is intentional and worked on from within before it is shown to others through our behaviors and actions.

If what you mean is you desire to find a partner in life as early as possible, then it's not going to happen through interests or attraction alone. People have to meet halfway with both their partners as well as their own feelings and thoughts. You're rushing to be aware of these things you believe you can do better, but the best you can do is try to pick up as many desirable things as you can along the way and try to not bring the non-desirable stuff as you go. All of that is pretty subjective which is why we see so much variance in everyone. You'll start seeing things you like and I think that's what you're trying to figure out.

It's ok to be imperfect. That's what makes you you, in your own kind of way. There's only so much good that people can make happen in one lifetime. That's why it's important to make things count. You're not doomed if you make mistakes or experience hardships that make you want to give up, but you are if you never learn. Remember to keep your chin up when things get tough and one day I'm sure you'll be leaving your competition in the dust.

It's fine to be a girl. What we post here shouldn't make you feel bad for being a girl, we are just speaking up about injustices and discrimination men face. You shouldn't feel guilty for that unless you support it. And if you feel bad anyway for what other women do, just try to lead by example. Try to show what "being a girl" actually means.
