The right calls them ‘economic migrants’; progressives respond by focusing on women and children.

I know France is a shithole, but is it really bad enough to claim asylum? People crossing the channel from France are not "coming from Iraq", they're coming from France. Refusing to call them "asylum seekers" or "refugees" is not the same thing as completely ignoring them...

But they say they're asylum seekers so we have to just believe them!

To be honest, 90% of the illegal immigrants are male.

And its usually males immigrants doing trouble on other countries, I've never seen a woman with a burca burning churches or attacking random pubs.

that tells me its not about men, its about illegals and immigrants especially how given the majority of them are men. Because an article about the illegal women wouldn't gain any traction or clickbait...

would the guardian be writing about my male colleagues at work who are immigrants or those who are not but are exploited by the care sector????

does the guardian write about the demonization from feminists calling all men rapists?

does the guardian write about the dehumanisation of men subjected to domestic violence from their female partners or denied access / alienated from their children because their former partner used the "silver bullet"

does the guardian write about the men who are homeless, suffering from mental health conditions, denied work using DEI rules that favour everyone except men..

given the level of dishonesty going on in the media over the last week or so( including the guardian that has a history of this), then I would find this article disingenuous( even if it was before the riots) This is further down in the article

I dont believe the article or this post is helpful/useful to men because it applies selective outrage to only "some men". Its has to be ALL men or its not worth talking about...

Ive seen better article overseas in the countries I used to live in that did a better job of journalism about gender issue for men and women( its just a pity that the west refuses to pick up on them because.. again they have a narrative)

The people supporting the mass invasion, i mean humanitarian crisis, and profiting off it are only shifting focus to men because they know they are losing ground in the political side of it. They weren't expecting the kind of backlash they are getting. They know they cant hide behind the women and children lie anymore. This chick doesn't give a damn about men she was told what angle to write about.

I think this article forgets the fact that a large portion of modern (last few years) immigrants have been men. Also ask The Guardian on their opinion on men in any other topic that is about immigration and they'll give a very different answer.

This sub really is infested by tradcucks. The difference between the response of this sub and r/LeftWingMaleAdvocates to this article is enough to prove which is the true Men's Rights subreddit.

There is one thing for which I definitely want refugees and immigrants being screened for before being let in, though - Whether they are pro-male or not. There tend to be a lot of misandrists and tradcons among refugees.
