I think this happens to everyone. While we don't like to admit it, an FWB situation is a relationship. Just an open, shorter-term relationship. But it's still a tiny break-up. And with any break-up without explanation you'll have a lot of questions and insecurities. That's completely normal. Be kind to yourself.

Here's something that helped me: If an FWB ends it, always assume it was because it was an FWB, but they wanted something more than that. They wanted a relationship. This is one of the most common reasons FWBs end. And it's also a positive story to tell yourself where you didn't necessarily make any mistakes.

You will never know the actual reason and even if they tell you it is likely BS

Sometimes there will be no closure

But remember, most of the times it is not about 'you' or 'what you did'

What most people call fwb isn't fwb but rather a series of hookups. A fwb relationship develops after you have already established a decent friendship with said person and you come to the agreement that a bit of sex never hurt nobody, but there will be no strings attached. What you described is a situation where you probably met someone on a dating app, both agreed that you're looking for sex only and went at it. She doesn't feel like she owes you an explanation for not hooking up with you anymore and she probably found someone better with whom she might want to pursue something with.

Yea no shit, most girls want a relationship no matter what they say, so most likely they tired of just fucking and went to find a "boyfriend"

I either get ONSed by girls after 1 time (because im obviously non longterm potentional) or i get them for 2-3 months and i get dumped with no explanation usually (same reason).

Maybe your gut is trying to tell you something about what you are craving in life right now. Maybe a relationship for a while might feel nice.

FwB are a tricky situation because alot of times it becomes a relationship that isnt really a realtionship and the rules arent really put in check. Even if they are you need to go in with the knowledge that they owe you nothing and you are just objects to each other. The second one of you realizes you got the fun and use out of the other, the FwB ends. I think that is what you are experiencing. They had their fun but dont see it going further so they are cutting it short before it gets too far.

Im wondering if you are showing any interest over the agreed upon terms. I.e. maybe you are texting them about their day or behaving in a way "friendly" or worse "boyfriendly". That could be another reason.

Yes of course, I’m going over that rn, she’s ghosting me and I’m very sad about it. I do still talk to other women and if it gets more sad I hope my gf can help me cope.

Personally no, I’m just grateful for every time we get together. I also actively try to not get attached, know their cheers and jeers in life so that makes it easier
