Just because women say they want a long term relationship on their profile that doesn’t mean they don’t want sex or not willing to hookup. I’ve heard it referred to as the slut defense. Don’t be afraid of kino although all women are different so this will turn some of them off regardless.

“No spark” could be either or both of the things you mentioned. Being attractive but boring is the more common scenario but if you look wildly different than your photos even being charismatic won’t be enough.

If a woman is physically attracted to you online, but then doesn’t feel a spark in-person, then it means that you didn’t match up to the persona that you gave off online.

I’ve dealt with the same exact issue before. I’d have great success with some women, but only those who I was pretty indifferent about, because I never had fear to escalate with them. Those that found me attractive online would be disappointed that I didn’t match up to their expectations in-person. It isn’t just about looks.

If you’re playing it too safe, then it shows them that you have something to fear or that you have something important to lose. Once they pick up on this vibe, they realize that you’re no longer the same high-status man, who they thought you were online.

That’s why we always need to escalate. If you’re not escalating, then you’re not showing your true sexual intentions as a man. If you don’t show them that, then how are they going to believe you that you are that man?

Take a man who is incredibly strong & says that he can bench press 600 lbs. If there are no recordings of him lifting that weight & he doesn’t show you that he can, in-person, then how are we going to believe that he’s this strong? Even if he lifts that weight, every single day, it doesn’t matter. He hasn’t shown proof.

We show proof that we match our online persona, by showing who we are in-person, through escalation. You’re not doing this to “prove” anything to a girl but you’re doing this to prove it to YOURSELF, which will also prove it to her as a by-product.

If a girl was sexting you for days & telling you how good she is at giving BJs, then you’d be pretty damn disappointed if she didn’t know what she was doing in-person & decided to bite your dick. You’d feel confused & deceived in a way. Her online persona did not much up with what she portrayed in-person.

If you didn't make any progress, date was pretty pointless in terms of creating some romance between you, you would have to start from the beginning yet again, and potentially end up nowhere too if you would continue to play it the same way. About "feeling a spark", it's about that extraordinary connection, which would "naturally" trigger strong emotions between you, attraction, unique experience and positive life feedback. So instead of going through some generic stuff, you should mix things up, try to flow with the interaction to check if you could be a good match facing some natural and unexpected situation. If you want to pursue more serious relation, you should not provide the girl with generic dating experience, but try to be more adventurous and honest with conversation and activities.

Edit: what you told about the dates sounds like very generic conversations they had 15 times already. Be different, but not crazy. Tell them about your passion and ask them about theirs. And BE passionate about it. It doesn't matter if it's dnd, magic or soccer.

"no spark" means there was no sexual polarity. A girl can reject you even if she is attracted to you, because arousal is different than attraction, and no polarity means no arousal.

To make a "spark", consider the girls behavioral traits that are pleasing to you, and display the opposite traits. She is the opposite gender. The reason guys get the eye roll and get ghosted is because they try to force a vibe by syncing up with the girls behaviors instead of maintaining masculine behaviors.

There can be multiple root causes to this, so I think I'll approach this from most likely to least likely.

You telegraphed too much approval. The reason why this is so fatal for guys nowadays is that women are more status conscious than ever, because of the heightened intra-sexual competition amongst women. So if you kiss her ass or act like she's super awesome..... Men today have to be a little stoic with women, especially at first, as she'll view it as too good to be true, and assume there's some bad reason why you're so eager to please. Because women are so concerned these days with how their choices in men appear to other women, if you are somehow "not presentable", this can make them hit next. Had this happen before, it's always because I either didn't or couldn't escalate. Fun date example, maybe it's helpful maybe not:

Flirted with her over Bumble for a few weeks because our schedules weren't really matching up. She had personality and we would banter and flirt well but she wouldn't give up her number. We really wanted to meet so she pushed me into her schedule, and we decided to grab drinks after work one night. I said I'll come to her but she lived about an hour away in the middle of nowhere with nothing out there so I picked a place I liked that was closer to her which she called out that she appreciated.

It was a windy day but she wanted to sit outside, she had some real heavy duty cannons (probably G-H cup at least) and they were out so I knew she would get chilly. She complemented my fit and we chatted a bit more, the waitress came by twice and we hadn't even looked at the menu between our banter and chemistry. She said it was hard to hear me over the wind across the table so I moved my chair from across from her to about 10 o'clock.

I started finding ways to kino, resting my hand on her leg, etc. We ordered one round of drinks which she didn't care for, then she started considering the menu as she hadn't eaten all day but was reluctant to order anything since we were just supposed to drink. I pointed out an appetizer I liked that had a regional spin and she was weirded but I playfully told her keep an open mind. I say well it's pretty cold out here trying to shoo her off and she says that we're interesting and she's bored inside with those customers and they're closing soon anyway. So now I don't have a chance to have 1-on-1 flirty conversations, escalate how I want to, etc because the waitress won't go away. My date liked the regional version way more than she thought, mentioned dishes from other restaurants that it would pair well with that I absolutely had to try. I said well you'll have to put me on to those places and she enthusiastically agreed.

After the sun started going setting I said let's get outta here and walked her back to her car. I said we're not really near either of our houses but we can go for a ride for a little bit and chat, trying to get another chance at recovering lost momentum. She said actually she fit me in after grocery shopping so she had a car full of perishables, and since she has a drive to the middle of nowhere she didn't want to be on the roads too much after dark. I think I got her number and tried to transition to a kiss but we locked eyes and she said she doesn't kiss or get into someone's car on the first date, next time. She gave me a big long hug and told me not to look into her car as I would judge her (I did look, she had a lot of full grocery bags in the back seat.)

I texted her after and she mentioned having a great time and looking forward to meeting again. Then maybe 2 days go by and she says she's been dreading having to tell me that she didn't feel a spark and is really sorry that she didn't.

Post-game rundown:

Built up attraction through text game
She was attracted to me and felt comforatble around me / being touched
The chemistry transferred to real life
Felt good discussing future plans with me
Many factors meant the date was supposed to be short, but she extended it by getting dinner
She enjoyed the date and me lot, but not enough to push her out of her comfort zone (women don't kiss/fuck/ride on the first date, until they do)
I failed to recover the escalation and carry the sexual tension from text to real life because I ran out of time
Because of the above she didn't feel a spark so after a few days to think I came up short.

The first thing i think is most of you want to make formal dates which does normally create sparks for most girls... Understand that going on a date is not about trying to convince her, no its the other way round that is why you need to go on what you enjoy. She needs to tag along what you enjoy like going for drive or diving or whatever you enjoy... In most cases this turns out to be more easy to get a spark because you are enjoying yourself, so its either she enjoys the fun or not(less likely)
