If you are texting him, say something like “hey I got a present for you” and then give him a cookie or a small chocolate bar when he comes over. Will be a natural way for the both of you to start interacting like normal people. He’s a young guy so is probably pretty dumb, just set him up for success.

Well, if he usually gets to school early. Try hitting him up an maybe you guys can talk for fifteen to ten minutes in the morning in person. Or try lunchtime if not morning. Or if you dont want to ask, try hinting at it or something.

when I was in high school we had AIM (aol instance messager). You would get a girls Aim and then you talk to her and send her links and talk about random stuff. The good thing about it is that you can only send messages when they are online, so it was more real time and personal than now where we send messages into the ether.
