The only way you stop people is to keep hitting them with consequences till they learn. You could get a protection order as it sounds now. Weigh your options. But always call the police like you did. Judges take this as the best evidence!

I bet if you stop letting it get under your skin they will stop the theatrics.

Is there a safe spot your kid can take the call without you around (ie their bedroom)? Or you could just put some headphones on and listen to a podcast for 15 minutes. Then say ok kiddo time to wrap it up say goodbye now.

Should be easy to let this go. Remember this new guy is a scrub shacking up with a single mom. It’s pathetic. Nothing to get riled up over.

If you decide to go to court, bring that:
