Short answer: NO.

You make eye contact anyway when you approach people and talk to them, regardless they’re men or women.

But if you “look for” a sign from her eye contact, smiles, or twisting her hair, all that just barely means anything. Just approach if you see them not busy or not in a hurry.

In your case like in a gym obviously don’t approach them when they’re doing a set (aka busy). This is why I don’t approach in a gym, or at least not often, because majority of time people use in a gym is working out. With a few exceptions that there are people who spend hours in a gym mostly to socialize.

No. There is no need to seek eye contact to approach a girl and be successful.

The majority of women aren’t walking around looking to be approached or expecting to be approached. They don’t go around giving random men telepathic signals like “please approach me, I am interested in you, and i want you to hit on me”.

That’s because they are not even ready, they find it random, unusual, unexpected to be approached in places where most people don’t usually approach because it’s not a social event or anything that invites for conversation.

Sure some women may occasionally and very rarely try to hint they want to be approached to a small percentage of specific guys, who are unlikely to be you, an average looking guy who struggles to pick up and date women.

This doesn’t mean that they are not open to be approached though, it’s just that they will not really expect it, so you shouldn’t rely on women giving you signals to approach when you are cold approaching random strangers in places where there is no real invitation to start those type of conversations.

And more often than not most eye contacts are accidental or lost gaze that just so happens to be in you without being fully aware because women aren’t really going through life giving signals for random men to approach them.

It would also give you endless excuses not to approach and too much overthinking on whether she looked or not at you leading to lost opportunities by the time you finally make up your mind.

Honestly dont worry about the small things. Position yourself well for interaction and start talking to them. Indirect is great. I’ve found in my 1000 approaches most women are awkward you never know if they’re interested or not even by body language. Talking and then asking them out gives you the real interest level.

It’s not eye contact I’m looking for.. that doesn’t matter. It’s her glancing at you or having proximity to you, that she created. If you see a cute chick that has moved into your immediate field of view or close to you in your vicinity, who then casually glances at you, that’s your queue to go and introduce yourself to her. When she does these things it generally means she’s interested and wants you to shoot your shot so that she can see how interested in you she is.

Tbh I do, but its cuz ik theyll fs be interested in me, theyre already looking, its much easier. But no eye contact isnt necessary if youre smooth and can talk, confidently (and are remotely attractive)

Don't approach in the gym - don't be a weirdo!

The girls are discreet when looking at a guy (you won't catch their eyes), but if they make it obvious then you definitely need to start a conversation, it's an invitation to approach.

I don't get eye contact so I always start with "hey, excuse me..." or in the daygame I walk straight in the direction they're walking and that way they'll look at me trying to figure out where I'm going - that's one way to get them to look at me now is simple...

Direct eye contact is a sign of being attracted, but usually when you know the person well. Quick glances followed by looking to the side or even better down are great signs she may be interested.
