I did just this weekend and i don’t regret it :) .

The first time i proposes her she told me she is not available for this weekend. After the weekend she didn’t reply to my last message.

I talked to her again and she excuses for not responding me , so i liked the fact that she apologized so i proposed her another date and she accepted.

We went out and then fucked the same night :)

I've been in this situation a few times myself and I always had the same thought process as you. Now that I'm the one telling girls I have too much work because I want to keep them around in case the girl I'm really interested in isn't available, I'm telling you to drop it and focus your time and energy somewhere else.

the dates should ideally be more spontaneous. don’t schedule too far in advance as that will put more pressure on it and she will be more likely to flake. ideally the date should be within 2-3 days of the invitation.

don’t ask her out again on the first text re-opener. send her something more vibey that’s likely to get a reaction (like a video of you doing something fun). you don’t want her to think you run your life around her.

This is not about manning up. This is about taking the hint. Your voice in your head is simply what you should expect from a woman who is interested, the other voice who said “man up” is your needy desperate side telling you to insist because you don’t feel you deserve better.

It also is kind of pushy to literally ask her out on the same day she said she was free as if you were just waiting for an opening instead of having a life of your own. It’s like you are too eager way more than she is

This goes against a lot of seduction theory, but taking a page from my dad’s book (he was a tall and unattractive red headed man but a total master at picking up women).

He told himself that if he asked a girl out often enough, eventually she’d come around. He didn’t have this pride thing happening and he absolutely wasn’t needy.

I think he truly believed in his heart that he deserved to be with the best looking women, so he focussed on that and ended up marrying everyone’s wet dream woman in the end. He’s passed on now, but his legend lives on.

Feels like low interest option. Technically you can always reach out to her one last time to confirm things. In general, you should set up things clearly when you have proper opportunity, if you let it hang it is a perfect excuse for the girl to become passive and you will stay confused and uncertain. I would suggest to seek for potential better match already, even if current situations works out. Your dynamics are pretty poor, she declined your plans and didn't want to reschedule things on her own, it's presenting bitter and doubtful vibe already at the start.

People do get caught up in their careers. Not everyone is going to be a nerd who goes all in on dating. An apology and attempt to reschedule would be fine. If someone waited until after the meetup time to contact, though, I would probably move on.

You have lack of buy in before you set up the date. See my texting post. If a girl starts messaging you first it's guarenteed that she wont flake, be more pateint next time and build more buy in.
