This is stupid, give a group lighter sentences or treatment and they will go wild and out of control. Not to mention these types of law will just grow and fan hate flames or cause groups to fight each other since they view the other as having more privilege. I'm definitely leaving the UK as soon as possible and I'm not that shocked to see other people are also making plans to move. People I personally know and then even British youtubers/tiktokers I'm watching are moving. It's like everyone's got the idea at the same time and I'm glad.

Any male, any straight white male in the UK, is many times more likely to be imprisoned for any crime compared to any other identity group, regardless of guilt or crime committed. There are many in the Labor government who want some form of monitoring, and restricted freedoms for all straight white men.

Notice how they only mention the two-tier system between Whites and Christians vs Ethnic Minorities and non-Christians (e.g. Muslims) but they don't care that the system is two-tiered against Men but in favor of women. That's the world we live in. Both the left and the right are fine with discrimination against men but the right loses their shit when there is discrimination against White people or Christians. And here I am, a racial minority in the USA, observing this phenomenon in multiple countries.

An interesting way of doing an end run on voter suppression.

If for the same crime, only men go to jail and women and minorities only get a stern talking to, in the long term you are suppressing the white male vote. Once the voting demographic is 55% women,..its over.

UK needs a complete revamp, just like France, Germany etc. The people in charge are utterly incompetent. For some reason, every country in Western Europe wants to destroy the life of natives and serve the "peaceful" minorities.

It's ridiculous that it's women and ethnic minorities. But throwing in religious minorities is even more crazy. It just shows how pointless and dismjnatory this model is.

Being a religious minority besides atheists is a choice. You choosing a religion is not an immutable characteristics. Since atheism isn't a choice but just the lack of belief in a god it's not a religion itself or religious belief. But I assume they aren't including atheist as a "religious minority".
