This sounds like resentment and maybe there is some but something happened in my industry after covid where I feel like Woman have this unspoken hostility towards the men they work with. It doesn't just happen to me but I can sure feel the vibe. I live in a radically liberal city and I get the feeling they hold strong positions in the culture war.

I work in bartending and although I work well with 99% of people including women there has always been this one "tough" lady that throws all her weight around to the point of throwing people under the bus in an attempt they lose their jobs. It's not just this suttle thing you can ignore anymore. It really feels like someone watching you and waiting for you to fulfill some stereotype or preconceived idea they have. You can work around them for months and it will never stop. You are always a problem to them.

I can't tell if it's in my head but It's like being in the room with a bear. The last couple places I get introduced to these aggressive woman and my heart just drops. Working with them is just a miserable as I thought it would be. It's in other social sphere as well. Like there's this very real threat I have to convince myself doesn't exist. Like doxxing is just a thing people do now in any form they can. I want to get out of my industry because it seems like a place where these types can look strong and empowered by being pushy and aggressive.
