You did the right thing. Every time I’ve been in that situation, no matter how hot and heavy it’s getting, I always respect what she says in that moment. I’ve had girls tell me as I’m groping them “my pants aren’t coming off” and I just say “that’s okay, I’m enjoying this” and usually they will still eventually take them off and let me fuck them, but I have had them also stop it like what happened with you too. It really just depends on the lady. Don’t overthink, drop her and move on to the next.

You used the words “pressed a little harder” which sounds a lot like “continued to ask for it after she said no”. Even if that’s not what you meant, you have to be able to see how it sounds that way.

But I think I get where you’re coming from with your responses here, because there IS a difference between pressuring for sex and just keeping the door open. There’s a balance you can strike where you make it clear sex is still on the table, while also making it clear you’re totally fine with whatever decision she makes.

A lot of guys hear “no” and they slam the door shut themselves because they’re afraid to appear pressuring. A lot of other guys don’t give a shit and just apply pressure. You wanna be the guy who can comfortably hold the sexual energy without any outcome-dependence, giving her full freedom to change her mind or not without pressure.

But still, she could have blown you off for a thousand reasons, there’s no need to worry too much.

She most likely blew you off for something 100% out of your control. I've gone out with two girls recently that I liked that I could have seen myself with long term and both of them had their ex boyfriends pop back into their lives. Nothing you can do about it, so you move on.

Having sex might have made her act differently. Or it might have changed nothing.

You'll never know so don't over think it. You did the right thing.

The man should not be the one to pursue a relationship… once you get over that mindset, you’ll be sleeping with women within 1-2 dates. Stay in abundance and always keep your options open… keep dating other women and don’t let dating consume all of your free time. Do things to build yourself up and stay busy on your purpose.

She sensed urgency from you. It's the same thing every time. You may have showed sexual discipline outwardly but it don't matter if you still felt urgent.

If the girl wants to wait, you withhold your physical touch completely and don't spend the night at all. She needs to assume you can go get some elsewhere. It's when a girl realizes that you can't get some elsewhere that she decides to ghost you, even if her initial interest was sky high.

Been there, done that. It's 100% not worth the risk.

Look up enthusiastic consent and make that a minimum standard for engaging in sex. For bonus points, try to figure out ways to incorporate this into your dating practice. I will straight up tell women that I'm a big fan of enthusiastic consent and that I won't proceed towards sex unless I get an enthusiastic yes from them.

Men wildly underestimate how much women value safety at every stage of the relationship, especially on the first few dates. I started getting much better results when I stopped dancing around this sort of thing and became very direct about what I was looking for at every stage of an interaction.

Have high standards for yourself and you'll be surprised how quickly and often women respond to them.

As a woman I don’t think pressuring her for sex would have helped you, she either would have given in and probably regretted it (it’s also coercion and it’s gross af) or she would have thought you were unsafe/a creep. Sometimes you just aren’t in the right place to continue something or that person just isn’t quite right even though you’ve had a great time with them (I felt this recently after a date that went really well). People internalise this stuff when often it’s to do with the other person and what they’ve got going on.
