Here's an issue with this kind of thinking- the onus is always on men to do something, whereas when it concerns women it's something about society that needs to change. I think both are and can be true- but the author misses the point by assuming it's all on men to solve.

I find this article depressing because like most such articles; it wilfully ignores the real issue. That male loneliness is linked to dating failures and insecurity when it comes to relationships.

There seems to be this bizarre idea on the left, that you can somehow separate and quarantine the problems men are having with their sex lives from the rest of their lives. Which is even more bizarre, when you compare the attitude the left has toward gay men and women; to the attitude they have towards straight men.

Any commentator that said a lonely gay man or woman should simply forget about sex and find a solution to loneliness without relationships and a sex life, would be condemned by the left. Yet that is the response the left gives lonely straight men all the time; with any lonely guy who dares question that called the dreaded I word.

The truth is, any discussion about male loneliness that doesn't look at issues around dating and how men are struggling when it comes to finding relationships, is utterly worthless.

So this advice doesnt do anything. Men are afraid to gonoffline cuz of society’s heavy bias in favor of women, false accusations, humiliating rejections, predator-prey society, etc etx

The guardian is very left winged biased. I usually don't care about politics, but everything from them needs to be viewed like you are looking at fox news.

With a HIGH level of skepticism. They miss the point and often beat down on men.

Wish all these news outlets stopped fueling the culture war, be it left or right winged media. Because in today's age you truly can't trust anyone.
