So some advice a girl gave me with a very critical mind: flirting is in essence, making the other person feel good about themselves. This can be outward praise like compliments, complimenting things YOU actually think (find something about her you actually like yourself that isn't a line you learned).

They can also be long glances which she'll be curious to interrupt, and you can come back with something witty about being ' lost in something of yours' or ' admiring X you do or wear' .

In effect, if you want to do well at flirting, encourage people's actions, make them feel good about what they do, and make sure that you're not ONLY doing this, but to also bring them along into your interesting life.

Flirting is not the same thing as complimenting. Complimenting is recognizing she has something appealing or worthy of praise but it does nothing to create sexual tension because everyone can say that and it's more like giving her a Yelp or Amazon review than anything else.

Flirting is expressing the desire or emotional effect she causes you to feel interanally simply because it's true expression of what happens inside your body.

"i really like your eyes" vs When you look at me like in that way, i immediately forgot everything i was doing, and i hate you for it"

Notice the difference? It's the effect, the way she affects your mind, or your body. Not just praising her good qualities, but how those qualities affect you personally inside you.

Go look up Todd V's video on flirting. He provides examples and a logical explanation of it which you can use as a starting point and develop your own style of flirting.

But overall you want to work towards not only setting a fun vibe, but making it abundantly clear there is some sexual tension between you and the girl. You honestly could achieve this mostly nonverbally

Go out on a bunch of dates and practice... teasing and poking a bit of fun balanced with kino escalation and compliments that are not related to her beauty works effectively. Just gotta know timing, the woman's own personality, body language, etc

Flirting boils down to basically that: establish attraction, ask on a date, get the phone number.

How long it takes, what you're actually saying, what she's saying in return have endless variety - but this is the basic framework of how the conversation should go.

If you are as clueless as you say, then you would probably benefit most from having some sort of "canned pickup line" so you already know what you're going to say before you go up to a woman.

Drop the line, gauge her reaction, then have a conversation based on that, while moving things in the direction of getting her phone number to set up a date when you can spend more time with her. If she's interested, of course - don't take the phone number of an uninterested woman because you want a consolation prize for your approach.
