Probably the most interesting factor is that both of you are nontraditional college students in your 30s and 40s. When I was in undergrad, at least, the 30+ year old students were treated like zoo animals. People kept their distance, observed from afar, mocked them, and so forth.

To answer your question, though, just talk to her and shift the conversation beyond school. You guys ideally aren't the usual 18-22 Gen Z kids who are afraid of their own shadow.

Playfulness is key. Play with her. Come up with games. Introduce touch. Banter a lot. Tease her. Be non-needy. Come from a frame that she might be too old for you rather than the opposite. Act attractive (posture, low, slow speaking, smug smile).
