I’ve been married almost 10 years, together 13. We’ve had problems for awhile, the mood swings, her twisting my words, making me wrong even when I did or said nothing. She is mid 40’s now so I know part of this is her hormones , but can’t say it’s that .

It’s been a mindfuck for years, and I always tried to hold things together because we have two young kids and I have a teenager from my previous marriage. She is avoidant and will do everything now not to be around me . Her ability to use words is not only faster than me , but she can change the conversation on a dime for her interests.

About a month ago something changed. She cut me off emotionally overnight. No affection. No eye contact. No connection.

I’ve had a pain in my heart now for weeks that won’t go away .

I’m also the only provider, and I’m terrified about the financial side child support, maybe alimony, debt, maybe even bankruptcy. I love my kids more than anything, and all of this is going to hurt them too.

I’m heartbroken, exhausted, and scared. I will be filing for divorce soon as she has detached and told me she has nothing to give for reconciliation. She is taking no accountability.

I’ll try to do this uncontested and fair , but who knows what she will do once I serve her . I’m sad it came to this, I really loved her .
