As a moderately progressive man, this has been the biggest issue or irreconcilable bit of leftist politics for me. Never have I ever, in 15 years of working full time, ever been given a promotion or a decent job that doesn’t involve physically breaking my body down day in and day out.

Every job I’ve gotten, my boss looks at me like I’m his prized pony, just so excited to finally have a tall male around to do all the heavy lifting the team of female coworkers cannot and will not touch.

Similarly, every time I apply for a job that would allow me to sit or not spend 8 hours doing hard labor and heavy lifting, I never get passed the first interview despite cucking myself and saying everything an employer wants to hear short of “I’ll let you treat me like I owe you money in a Detroit prison”.

But all my female cousins and sisters have had NO problem getting hired on into office jobs, seated jobs, low effort high pay work. Every single one of them. And they have the damn nerve to complain about how hard work is and how “little” they get paid. They make 25-50% more than me minimum across the board for 75% less effort and labor. It’s fucking insane.

So now I have zero sympathy or empathy for their plight. I just can’t stomach it. It’s like being a starving hobo watching someone complain that their thanksgiving feast was missing cranberries, I just can’t take that shit seriously without laughing like an insane person or needing to go outside and break something.

Same pattern with all my guy friends I’ve known for years. Despite having the qualifications to do so much more, they are pigeon holed into back breaking menial wage hard labor while their girlfriends get to climb the corporate ladder sending emails from their sofa while wearing PJ’s. It’s corporate daycare for women at this point. And when the men get home, they got a 2nd shift of doing everything around the house (cause doing household chores is beneath the women now and oppressive if they have to do dishes or laundry) while babysitting and managing their girlfriend’s temper tantrums which are CONSTANT.

You won’t ever catch me calling myself a male feminist that’s for DAMN sure.

I myself applied for a cushy job for the city and wasn't called to an interview. When I requested the CVs of the ones called, all of them were women, and one of them in particular had no qualifications, whereas I had many relevant ones. The city employs 80% women per official statistics.

Women are highly favored in all jobs except in agriculture or heavy industries which they won't want to participate anyways, this not up for debate. The more liberals deny and do nothing about it, the more votes they will lose.

There's a particular place I've applied to often over the years, never heard back.

Recently, on a whim, I decided to send in the same resume and cover letter, just with a fake (female) name. They emailed back wanting to schedule an interview.

I'm still wondering what I should do with this info. Part of me wants to let them know what I did and see how (or if) they respond.

Another part wants to continue this charade and schedule an interview, then show up in all my maleness, play dumb ("no idea how you got my resume with the wrong name on it, but besides that, yeah it's mine") and see just see what happens.

If we are allowed to talk against DEI quotas and hiring based on that:

This year, our batch (B.Tech or B.E) at my university saw campus placements (A system, where during the final year, companies come to university campuses for hiring freshers and hire through university integrated programs, in India).

And Most of the Big-name companies: Dell, philips, nvidia etc, (my college is kinda low tier in India, so faang mostly don't come), Hired only women. Also, above 15 LPA CTC (salary) mostly women were hired.

Even tho gender ratio of our batch is 3:2 (M:F).

Campus placements at universities make it kinda transparent, so its very widely known how they discriminate.

I think it's nice to have some actual data to defend the sentiment that I am sure a vast majority of men between 18-55 (working age) have.

There was an article from The Epoch Times that I literally read 2 hrs ago. And this guy nailed every single point. It's like he knew the exact experience I've been having. I just graduated with my Bachelors Degree last June and have had an extremely difficult time finding work within my field, nonetheless in general.

And he said that 11% of men between 25-54 are unemployed. I'm not sure where he got that number from so don't quote me on it but I'd assume that he did his homework if he's putting that so confidently in a paper as popular as Epoch Times.

Many companies now have company policies that forbid them from giving feedback when they tell you you didn't get the job. It's simply because they'd be sued for telling you your mistake was being a man.
