Men and boys in the west have been systematically “attacked” for want of a better word and it has had an impact.

From portrayals of men as either evil, incompetent or both in mainstream media, a feminised education system which even has specific programs to explain to boys how they’re toxic but don’t know it and DEI programs which only have one gear - make it easier for women.

It has had an impact. From falling enrolment at college, dropping out of the job market. Increasingly living at home with parents, social isolation and increased suicide.

If the above metrics (which have all been passively observed for more than a decade) aren’t a red flag that men are having some kind of crisis (“emasculated”) I don’t know what is.

And it’s not just that men don’t have the confidence and self belief they would have had years ago before all the above stripped it from them (and of course those qualities are important if you’re to get yourself in shape and go face down the enemy on the battlefield) but also - why should men lay down their lives for a society that doesn’t respect them?

So it’s two pronged - men have had confidence and self believed systematically stripped from them and the same system therefore isn’t work protecting for them and it doesn’t care for them.

Neither are conducive to large numbers of men running to grab arms and die on a battlefield.

That "toxic" behaviour is useful in war.

It's everywhere. To attack mens masculinity and calling it toxic, to the bear argument. To movies constantly putting men down and them portraying men like they are always the incapable and dumb ones. To the rigged justice system. To unprotected laws when it comes to circumcision. The boys in the UK are taking classes on how to treat girls better. Which in turn is incredibly detrimental, incredibly.

A culture in which fighting back is no longer approved. Largely due to the feminization of institutions. When boys are attacked they are often expected to maintain self-control, forced to endure the perpetrators of abuse.

If you attack them you are villainized and punished.

I live in a country with mandatory military service, and against everything we see nowadays on social media and the likes, I have to say that not much has changed here. I recently saw that one guy was doing a documentary on YouTube about his basic training, and he was based in the same compound where I had my basic training two decades ago. So I enjoyed every minute watching how they were doing the exact same stuff we did back in my days.

I also very often speak to active soldiers, and they are great. They have so much fancy gear nowadays and learn amazing tactics and the like, we could only have dreamed of back when I was in active service.

Yes, there are some examples where you ask yourself about "Would they be able, when crap hit the fan?"
But let's be honest, no soldier back in WWI was ready for trench warfare. Those were also boys who were thrown into a fight they could not win against impossible odds.

I see where you are coming from, but have you ever talked to today's soldiers?

I think there are better words than emasculation. How about de-humanization? See, just changing words makes finding examples easier. With de-humanization you can pick examples like ignoring male rape victims, ignoring male victims of domestic violence, caring more about female victims of violence than male victims of violence, women and children first, ignoring the male need for male spaces, ignoring only 40% of college students are male, and many more.

the "female frodo" and others talk about how men are portrayed in movies. spoiler alert, its not in a positive light. and this has been going on for at least 3 decades. add garbage feminist ideologies and you have an indoctrination soup fed to the masses that will(and do) pretty much hate men

What exactly is “emasculation” to you people? Anytime I’ve seen someone talk about it, it’s usually just pointing out that men can be more feminine now or do things such as paint their nails which who cares? Shouldn’t we be for all men whether they’re masculine or feminine? Gender roles are dumb, let people do what they want, whether they want to follow them or break them
