What is the actual material incentive to truly treat women as equal?

Gender roles ignore individual capabilities. Some peoples capabilities match the gender roles, while some peoples don't. We should focus on capabilities and not the sex of the person. Just because you are a woman - it does not mean that you are a good knitter, men can also he good knitters.

The incentive of treating others as people and not stereotypes of their gender is that it allows them to do stuff they are actually interested/good at and it increases the quality of the materials they produce. Not to mention it is better for their mental health, which also imptoves on the quality of their materials.

Like, imagine the woman earns more than the man in her job, the man is good at running the household and caring for children. So if you break the gender role of the woman being the stay at home mother and have the husband being the stay at home parent - you can get more income to the household because the woman earns more and a household that is better taken care of because the man is a better caretaket.

I have a pet theory that some trans people transition not because they feel like the opposite sex, but because their personalities, interests, mannerisms match the opposite sex and it is easier to change their bodies to match the expectations than to change what you are. Like, imagine you are a man with behaviour that is deemed feminine and everyone dismisses you being a man and are calling you a woman because you don't fit their expectations of a man, so it might be easier to transition to a woman instead of making them accept you as a man.

Instead of treating someone as is expected to treat a man or a woman. Treat them as people who have their own set of strengths and weaknesses. Yes, stereotypes inform expecrations, but one should be aware that there are exceptions and instead of forcing rhe other to meet the stereotype - accept that some aspect don't meet stereotypes.

Also, do you know that when the bike was invented there were men whoneere highly regarded who thought that women are incapable of riding a bike due to her biology? And yet nowadays a woman riding a bike is a basic expectation.

Do you have an incentive to treat women like they’re not your equal?

I’m not really sure how to answer that. The bottom line is neither men nor women are better than the other. Women aren’t inherently inferior to men. We study, work, pay bills, take care of themselves and others. There are plenty of men who recognize that and treat women with respect, and a lot of them do have partners.

Also, seeing women as equals doesn’t mean you treat every man and woman exactly the same. You don’t treat your friends the same way you treat your romantic partner. Your issue isn’t about treating women as equals. It’s clearly something else.

You could ask the same question of women. What is their actual material incentive to treat men as equal and not a source of income and validation? The actual answer is that it’s the correct thing to do in both cases. Sometimes you do things because it’s the right thing to do whether or not there is any material benefit to yourself. It’s questions like this that verify my belief that most men are actually inferior.

There isn't one. It's in everyone's self-interest to have everyone else beneath them. But humans are social creatures and care about each other. You certainly won't make many friends that way if feeling lonely is your concern.
