My ex-wife (still getting used to saying this) asked to get a divorce last Thursday. I’m still processing everything but I’m more angry & relieved that it’s happening. We had just booked our apartment lease, that came with a $10k exit fee to move to a house we were going to rent, to only be told she wants a divorce 2 days after the move. She also said “she never really loved me and didn’t want to get kids” we were only married for 2+ years, but I realize now how miserable I was. I was immediately kicked out of the house and I did manage to get a lawyer and I’m going to file tomorrow. I don’t know what I wanted to do with post, I just felt like I needed to rant because I was completely blindsided by this.
