A little tweak: Scrap "really." "I'd like to see you again" sounds a bit more relaxed, and sometimes less is more.

“I’d like to see you again” shows nearly the same level of interest but reduces probability it will be perceived that way.

Depends on how you say it.

It's fine if you're saying it to express how you feel and not asking for something, like "I feel like I want to see you again". Like its fine if you don't, but you would like to.

Not ok if you're saying it to try to get her to see you again, like "Please please please see me again. I need you to see me again."

Neediness is an emotion, not a behaviour. And it is completely fine to feel needy in the moment and even express it. Do not hide that from people. It is the only way to "heal" it.

Needy is anything that communicates directly or indirectly that you can't live without a girl, that you are terrified she leaves you, or that your emotional well-being depends on her decision to be with you showing that u care too much whether she stays or leaves.

So in the phrase "I'd really like to see you again" i assume u are worried about the word "really", and while it's not needy if she is showing high enthusiasm, the use of that word implies a higher level of emotional investment than if you just said "i'd like to see you again". The latter one sounds less eager, so that's the safe way to not appear needy. Remove the "really".

Having said that nothing guarantees she will say yes if she is not interested, this is just if your goal is to not appear needy regardless of whether she agrees to see you again or not.

don’t think it’s necessarily needy. if she’s attracted to you she’ll find it hot to hear that, if she’s lukewarm or not interested at all she’ll probably get the “ick”

If you say it while you’re still on a date, it’s needy

I usually hit up a girl 5ish days after our date and say “would love to see you again”

I think the ‘really’ can be interpreted as needy from some girls but I don’t think it’s that big of deal if you’re not actually conveying neediness

Not needy but doesn’t always send the right signal if you actually like her. I prefer the line “When can I see you again?” This way she’s on the hook to give you some feedback. If she REALLY likes you she’ll make herself available in the next 0-3 days. She likes you, next 7-10 days. No definite answer is “I’ll let you know” and you can safely assume she doesn’t feel the same way. Either way it displays confidence that you want more of her time.

It is a little. But if you follow it up with something playful like " we need to discuss xyz " any fun topics that you talked about. Tease her a little, It plays it off completely. And if she likes your tease, she likes your personality so its a win-win.
