I'm not a MRA myself, because well to be an activist you have to actively do something and I don't, really. But I'm definitely a supporter. Being a man myself that should be pretty self evident. :D
However I have noticed a few inconsistencys in this subreddit.
On one hand people here demand the same rights for men that women have, socially and legally.
On the other I have to read things like "Well men aren't nice, men are naturally competative" and "If that boy likes to wear dresses, his mother must have forced him into it". Those opinions aren't outliers either. They get upvotet quite a lot.
So my question is, how can you reconcile these two opposing believes? If women are naturally less competative, more fragile and all in all more girly, it would follow that they need special protection, from society and the law.
Men being naturally more competative and more resilient should be able to power through the disadvantages, shouldn't they? /devilsadvocate
