I've seen friends' lives ruined over false accusations like this one. This is a case where I would love to see this person outed publicly, her crimes fully revealed and punished to the fullest extent of the law, and the victim given some sort of compensation.

Fortunately since we live under The Patriarchy which works to benefit men at all times he was given the benefit of the doubt and was assumed innocent on the whole "dating a student" thing.

The Patriarchy is awesome for guys. Female teachers sleep with a student and they're as good as lynched. Guys do it and the bro-code comes in to play and everyone just hushes it up.

That story is the fakest thing I've read all year. It was a ruse specifically to set up the OP's 'twist' at the end, to 'expose reddit's gender bias'.
