I've got news for you dude. Most likely, you've been graded more poorly due to being a boy your entire life. They've actually done studies that showed female teachers (vast majority of grade school teachers) graded boys more poorly than girls even if the work was equal.

This shit happened to me here in the states, i scored high 80's and 90's on all my finals and final grades however i was informed the grading system the district uses a 1-4 point system and so a 80 is the same as a 89 and a 90 is the same as a 99. This fucks with your G.P.A. as im sure you can imagine. Pissed me the fuck off !

The very idea of calculating grades shows how much bullshit schooling is. Either the individual has mastered the subject or not. What grade you are in should not be determined by your age. You are not entitled to be a college student just because you are 18. Nor should you be held back from being one because you are five. Ability is everything.

The students should be tested and either have to continue in high school or move onto college based on their ability. Everything should be a meritocracy. Graduating students simply because they are one year older only hurts those students.

The very way in which schools teach is fundamentally wrong. You should not be paced according to how the average student performs. This hurts poor students by going to fast, and it hurts good students by going to slow.

There should be a single, international, virtual school system that lets each student learn each subject at his own pace. This would be extremely cheaper and the only way to provide equal access to education for everyone.

Thats not how it works though. The score is calculated, predicted grades, school, previous markes all used etc... THEN if you are a boy mark goes down, if you are a girl mark goes up... put it this way, would you do this on race (e.g. mark goes down for certain races, up for some), or would you do this to lower girls grades? No there would be world war 3... this however, will not even make the Guardian or be talked about.... any discussion will ONLY be focused on race, class, private school etc...

Its like when a document for COVID beds in ICU got leaked.... you get points, too many points means I think it was 6, means no bed.... men of any age were automatically given a point just for being male as were elderly.... EVERY single newspaper without fail ONLY mentioned agesim etc, not a single one mentioned gender at all, even in passing.
