I'm not entirely sure how well I can speak to this, since I'm just over 5'6" which may or may not be comparable enough to 5'4". Fortunately I have a 5'4" friend who is attractive and outgoing and has gone to a few parties with me, so I have some extra perspectives from that.

Let's face the facts, like it sounds like you probably have. Girls like guys who are taller than them. I think we'd all like to be at least 6 feet tall, even the 5'11" guys. And in clubs, girls are wearing heels so even that 5'2" girl feels taller than you - not ideal.

So, how do you overcome this? Well, that's the million dollar question, eh? ;) The obvious answer is to improve other aspects of yourself to make up for it, like how a blind animal may develop a better sense of hearing to compensate. This can make up for a few inches, in many cases. Given the choice between the 5'4" guy with a rippling six-pack, 16" arms, and a killer appearance (think haircut, facial hair, clothing choice, etc.) and the 5'9" guy with a dad bod and average appearance, a girl will likely go for the shorter guy. Now, not always, because some girls really do refuse to date anyone shorter than them, but in general the height disadvantage can be made up for. You have to be better than the other guys, basically.

And just remember that you are the prize, no matter your height. You need that base of confidence to maintain an irresistible presence.

Adapt and overcome. Accept the fact that you are 5'4 and use it to your advantage. Be "that guy" who is 6 inches shorter than everybody else but gets more girls than all of them combined.

Sad to say but you'll probably get slaughtered in the online market because girls treat it as a big catalog of features and specifications, while with in-person game you have a chance to push through that and win over with charisma. Day game and social circle game are probably your best bets.

All I can think of is moderate (not excessive) lifts, don't hide your height when meeting women but having an event be standing only will make that your focus, and really you need to be an AMOG. You need to give a woman immediate qualities that will allow her to hamster your height as inconsequential. Hollywood is filled with short stars because the screen hides it and their other qualities come through.

But what's wrong with the shorter half of women? Sometimes you gotta fish where they bite, that's just reality.

I'm going to give you some practical real advice. You need to find girls who are about the same height or shorter than you. Skip clubs and such venues, or online, they are not the place for you. You won't have a chance in such shallow environment.

Stick to socializing and making more friends. You need to find girls who are about the same height or shorter than you. Such environments are much less toxic and how you come off, your personality, your game, will wield you better chances. Having a good body and face will certainly make it easier.

I hate to make excuses but I feel like if I was just a few inches taller I would be a real stud.

But you're not, and there's nothing you can do about it, I mean you could have one of those chinese surgeries where they break your legs to add a couple of inches, but believe me even if you're fucking 6'4 you will find something else, anything else about you to hide behind that little flaw and hold yourself back.

That's just the human nature, we aim for perfection, in a bad way, we don't focus on what we can change and be the best possible, we subconsciously hold on to what we can't change. I used to be like that, hell I still have bad days and bitch about it until I realize what a huge pussy I'm being and hate myself for it.

For example, I'm 6'2 210, 15% not fat but definitely no abs, and having an obesity background that's always in my mind. However when I'm in the gym, I feel like a god because no one there is stronger than me, seriously all curl bros and couple of them are pretty big and lean, but still I constantly see girls smiling at me and not them, because no matter how many veins those shredded bros are showing, they still stare at me when I'm deadlifting four plates for reps. I'm still that guy at the gym, the one in a plain old tshirt and chucks, drinking tap water from an old plastic bottle yet the under armour wearing bros drinking pre workout and visibly more aesthetic than me show insecurity.

And I'm not hating on bros or BB style training, don't get me wrong, but honestly the more you are worried about whatever "flaws" you have, the more you make others notice them, it's the same principle that applies to bullying, if you show you don't give a fuck, then they don't get any pleasure out of it.

If we reduce people to a number on a 5-to-10 scale then it is basically is a sum of your different qualities. A nice chin gives you 0.2 and smooth hair gives you 0.4 or whatever. Your height probably gives you a -2.0. For others it will be shitty personalities, horrible sweat issues, anxiety, or a fucked up face.

You'll never be perfect.

Now... What can you do with what you got?

A magic trick is to work on your personality. Make people want to be in your presence.

I'll agree with most of the posts here insofar as the fact that you're stuck with it, so deal with it.
The caveat is 'pussy slaying' power is still possible, save it'll take hard work. In fact, depending of the person, you've gotten the most tangible and easy parts out of the way and I expect well under control. (looks, finance, mission, blah, ect).
The lynch pin to maintaining the high abundance of women you desire (I expect this is what you're lacking) is attitude. I know a 5'4" guy who is solid yet quite unfit, lazy, alcoholic, directionless and passably attractive. He was a chump in high school and his only girlfriend was a fat girl. Come the beginning of uni, he becomes more social, outgoing and involved with people, parties and making friends. He becomes popular and scores a few reasonably attractive girls. Recently he landed a good looking ltr. Objectively she is out of his league. In reality, she believes HE is out of her league. Only one this changed over this entire period. His attitude.

Your mindset is what needs to change. (what to? Something that firstly dosent whine about shortcomings and takes control of their reality) Pull your head out of your ass and realise this.

Edit: final take away. Some chicks just won't go for it. Find the ones that do. You can't fuck all the girls in the world, but if you find all the ones that want to fuck you, you'll have no worries.

If it makes you feel any better my sisters are both 6 foot even and when they were dating they completely would not even consider guys who were even only a couple inches shorter than they were. They'd talk about a cute guy who was sitting down and then he'd get up and you can just see them die a little inside upon realizing he was around 5'8. Oh wait, that couldn't possibly have made you feel better. Sorry bro.
