I don't know if /r/theredpill is some kind of satire on Red Pill Theory or if it really does takes a "misogynist"/"jerk" to be successful with women. I am still on the line as to what to call it. Maybe it is those things but it's not necessarily wrong to be a misogynist or jerk if you want to be successful with women, because it works.

I am pretty much a Beta who lucked out finding a nice woman, we are married and have been together for 10+ years. She has her issues (just like many hamsters) but it's not too bad, I can handle it. I am happy to support her Beta needs because I am just a nice guy. I have at times seen for myself that she has or has in the past had some classic hamster traits but she has never cheated on me or anything like that.

Anyway I have only recently subscribed to /r/theredpill and started reading some introductory material, mostly for a amusement but also see how I can self improve in a way that could make me Alpha and Beta and basically improve my relationship.

Since doing this, this is the first thing that has come up which I thought would be a good chance to see what /r/theredpill is made of since my partial enlightenment. I want your opinions here.

Just so you know, I'm not looking to drop this plate or looking for any others, I am happy to keep this one spinning forever if there is no reason to stop it.

Situation is as follows: She tries to use my laptop without permission while I was out, in doing so she tripped the security system which wiped the whole thing clean. I have backups so no data was lost.

She didn't know about the security system, as she has never had a reason to use it before (not that there is anything secret on there), and admittedly the security system is very easy to trip just by pressing the wrong button.

She called me up AFTER this and asked me if she could use my laptop, because "her iPad was not working". I told her not to because she might accidentally trip the security system, and I'll have a look at the iPad when I get home. It's entirely possible the iPad was having issues, I do have some funky jailbreak tweaks on there which sometimes cause issues, so I can't tell for sure if it is a bullshit excuse or not.

She is a known bullshit artist (although not a very good one, it is always easy to catch her out) and can sometimes do hamster things when she feels insecure (which can sometimes be often - it comes in waves).

When I get home, I find that my laptop's security system has been tripped, laptop has been wiped. I asked her if she had used it after I said not to - she said that she tried using it before she asked for permission (so the permission thing was an attempt to cover up in case I said yes she would have a plausible excuse of how it happened).

So anyway, I tell her that I'm very frustrated and annoyed with what she has done, and I will forgive her, but she should know that she has caused me many hours of work in having to set it all up again (This laptop is not simple to make an "image" backup due to security, everything needs to be set up again) plus I will have to use her old laptop (which she never uses anymore) to get some work done and that is also going to hold me up couple hours to get a basic working environment set up not to mention the actual work I need to do.

She's also been nagging me all day about what my plans are for tomorrow because she wants me to give her a lift somewhere, but I can't work it out until I do my work for the evening so I let her know I'll need more time to work it what I'm doing tomorrow before I can tell her.

I should also point out that at this point I have been completely nice to her about it, only expressing that I'm frustrated without blaming or taking it out on her on what she's done.

After I couldn't tell her my plans for tomorrow (which is her fault), then her hamster wheel started spinning (am I using these terms right?).

She accuses me of being secretive about my plans for tomorrow and my plans are a lie (Unlike her, I have no history of lying, but she can't accept that), and then tells me that I am not allowed to use her old laptop which I'm trying to use to get some work done.

I decide that some Red Pill is in order, and put it to the test. It seems to escalate things rather than turn them on like crazy, or maybe it's supposed to turn them off quickly so it is easy to NEXT them if it was a dating situation, I'm not sure.

So anyway, I redpill her by saying:

"NO, I'm not lying - it is really because you have done this to me. I am NOT going to give you a lift to where you want to go in any case because of the way that you have treated me by using my laptop without permission and then being sneaky about it".

Hamster wheel spins up to MACH 10.

I continue, by pointing out that it is fair for me to use her old laptop because she broke my main one, and I need to get this work done. I also point out to her that my work is our main source of income (I run a small business) and it is absolutely critical that I get this work done, otherwise it would lead to my business failing (if I let her get in the way of it) and I would end up with a working a 9-5 desk job that doesn't give her the flexibility to be with her more (more Beta to her)

Hamster wheel spins up to MACH 25.

This wheel can go to a pretty high to extreme speed usually, but I'm usually Beta enough to handle it at high speed (I usually let her win when I think that the subject matter doesn't really matter - pick your battles). I don't usually put up with it at extreme speeds (except 1 or 2 times because it wouldn't stop spinning for months, even though I was right). When it gets extreme, I usually put a stick in it, so maybe I could have a little bit of an Alpha trait already without me realising? I'm not sure.

Anyway, continuing to tow the Red Pill line, I continue to say that it should be HER that should be apologizing and making things up for ME, to make up what she has done, and she should start by making me dinner because I hadn'e eaten yet (all I asked was to Microwave a pre-prepared meal, which I could easily do myself, but asking her to do on principal).

Also, somewhere along the line between MACH 10 and Orbit she threatens to turn off "the sex tap" (I would hardly call it a tap, part of why I am looking at becoming more alpha). I made a point to say "Fine I wouldn't want it from someone acting like this anyway" and deliberately looked away from her when she was nude while she was changing for bed to make it clear that she can't use her sexual powers to make me do what she wants (She usually expects me to perv on her because she knows that I'm extremely attracted to her).

Did I handle this the right way (according to RP) that will put her back in her place (to make things better) in the long run, or did I majorly cock this up and broke some RP rules that make me more Beta or just plain ruins a non-disposable relationship?
