Seems to me that while you developed your body you did not develop your mind.

Masculinity is physical, mental, and spiritual, your tripod is falling because you did not develop the other legs needed to hold you up.

While you led your wife to improve through your improvement of 'self' you were only 'the man' because you knew you had a wife who relied on you.

Now that she doesn't rely on you as much and is capable of standing on her own physically, inter-personally, and sexually you feel threatened.

This lack of confidence comes from the weaksauce part of your mind that you have yet to destroy - you need your wife and are afraid she may not need you any longer. Life was good while she was under you, but now that you have developed a 'strong' feminine woman - you are scared to lose her to a more 'alpha' dude.

Your wife lost some weight and wants to spend time with friends - and you're convinced she's now going to leave you? Is there something you're not telling us? I don't understand how you come to this conclusion.

I'm a big believer in some RP truths, but "hypergamy" I think is a very unhealthy way to look at women. Women who don't trust their husband's ability to make decisions and be a steady rock, yes, such women lose their attraction to their husband, leading to conflicts, dead bedrooms, and worse.

Trying to keep a woman fat or without friends in order to keep her under control - I think that's a very sick way to live. Women aren't actually evil, believe it or not. Damaged women act evil, because that's what they've been taught.

If you're as good of a captain as you're bragging you are, then what's the problem? Your wife will tend to mirror your own mindset, so as long as your mind is healthy and positive, hers is likely to be the same.

I'd suggest working on giving less fucks that it's not all for you. My wife is also upping her workouts as she approaches some age milestones. I applaud and support her effort.

she is finishing some changes that started along time ago to keep up with me. She is approaching her ultimate weight loss goals, getting new hair styles, becoming sexually aggressive, becoming more outgoing and wanting to hang out with friends etc...
