My brother has been married for 8/9 years and has two kids, 5 & 6.

He is not happy in the marriage. He is bored to death by the controlling nature of his wife. She leaves no room for spontaneous actions and everything needs to be planned in advance. I understand from my brothers words he desires, or better yet, he craves excitement.

And so he has fallen in love with a woman at work. Big red flags all around her to begin with. Never had a relationship at age 34, deeply troubled relationship with mother, tattoo's, tongue piercing and quite the looker. Yet the fool that my brother is, is swept away by his cravings and basically wants to run away with her. His rational side knows what he feels is crap, falling in love is a fools game and etcetera. They kissed. He hasn't fucked her yet, but it's in the makings. Basically he wants that, eject from current marriage and enter into a new relationship with his co-worker. And happily ever after.

We all know how this is going to end if he pursue this obtuseness. And he knows it too, he is not a complete idiot. Except the part by putting the blame at the feet of his wife for his boredness.

Edit: some wording

Edit 2: I'm not trying to be a savior here. But as a teacher I see what happens to kids in broken marriages and it's not pretty. I deeply care about my nephew and niece and wish nothing but the best for them. My brother is a big dumb idiot blaming his wife for his own problem. He was here last night and we talked. I'm not the one offering advise unless directly asked. I mirror with stories, that's all I can and will do.

I don't believe he is a red pill type or quite ready for it, so pointing him towards the main sub or the manosphere in general is not going to work. I'm looking for a post or story from a guy struggling and going through the same motions. Maybe he can learn something from it.
