This is a common belief in the PUA community, but your mileage may vary.
The Sex God Method purports that if you employ DEVI, then the chances of her infidelity lessen, but not go away.

Her family experience/upbringing.
How she treats you. Respect, affection, romance, humor.
Her values wrt integrity; honesty, loyalty, trust.
A roll of the dice.

My wife is loyal to a fault. She can easily check off all of the above, however, she spent a week in another state with friends of ours working a trade show. There was this good looking guy in the next booth over who started flirting with her. It progressed to the point that our female friend intervened to ask the question, "Are you willing to flush your marriage and our friendship over this guy?"

My wife calmed down and behaved the rest of the show. When she came home, she promptly told me of the incident. Boundaries and consequences were discussed (reinforced) and I quietly thanked our mutual friend.

The game never ends.

There is always a possibility of cheating. If you present high value to your spouse the probability is much lower. If you consistently present low value then it is almost inevitable. My wife would have never struck anyone as the kind of person who would cheat on her husband, but after years of my being complacent she found someone who would pay her attention in the way she wanted. As far as I know it was only an emotional affair, not that it hurt any less at the time. That changed me, at least as far as OI. I have practiced visualizing the worst case scenario of my wife cheating on me and that has helped me tremendously. Even if she were having an affair now I would be able to handle it with calm efficiency.

Dont think,"Is my wife having an affair?"

Think,"How should I handle it if she were?"

Here's my advice on marriage. (copy pasted from somewhere else)

Unless you have highly vetted the woman, don't do it.

Unless she's willing to put in the hard work to continually work to make you happy even if you haven't started appreciating it, don't do it.

Unless she's willing to make sacrifices for your happiness, don't do it.

Unless she's understanding of your goals, needs, and desires, don't do it.

Unless she's patient, intelligent, understanding, empathetic, self-reliant, and capable, don't do it.

Unless she's continually adding value to your life over an extended amount of time while not taking value through any of the following (harping, screeching, whining, complaining, bitching, negativity, etc.), don't do it.

Unless she's able to both understand and appreciate the male perspective, while also understanding the cognitive biases of the female perspective, don't do it. This applies to any number of male issues including paternity, etc.

Unless you make yourself happiest because you're also her making her happy, don't do it.

Unless she rejects feminism, the idea of socially correct equality, or any of the sjw tendencies that gets stuffed down the throat, don't do it.

Unless you're willing and able to completely throw this woman under the bus should she try to fuck with you, the woman you've probably decided to commit to, don't fucking do it. Without this, you will not consistently be holding high standards. Because, a woman can come after you after 20 years, and the court can still decide to screw you.

The chances of you getting screwed are incredibly high. Know the risks and vet the woman.

Now, if she passes all these criterion, realize how potentially incredible this type of woman could be. Then recognize that AWALT. Then recognize that you still need to hold frame, put in the work, before it turns into a positive feedback loop.

Now, if you still want to marry this woman after recognizing all of the above, I don't see why you shouldn't.

One final one, most important. Unless she is able to understand what you deem flaws in her behavior, and take the actions necessary and make the effort necessary to correct them (this may be through really talking with you), don't do it.

This also presupposes that you are a high value man who is making the effort to make her life better. Because if you aren't high value yourself, who the fuck are you to expect the best from a woman?

My guess is this.

The only interesting thing here is the AF/BB dynamic - how readily she can "commit" to a beta husband and still fuck alphas on the side.

If you're bringing the alpha, she'll cheat on you like a man would cheat. Lots of stuff goes into that decision: SMV differential, mood, personality, risk and consequences if found out, morals, alcohol and who knows what.

I can't say I have hard data, but I doubt women cheat that much on alphas. Given how jealous alphas are and in our evolutionary past potentially dangerous, and the very real risk of getting kicked out by your provider/lover, and how women have a low chance of pregnancy for a single intercourse, it doesn't make sense to cheat all the time. Maybe as a high risk/high reward move.
