I'd STFU about it for now. It's already happened, it can't be undone and anything you say about it will only make you appear insecure and weak. Yea, it's causing you some alarm but pointing that out to your wife will only hurt you in the end. I think the deleted texts are the bigger issue here, but that's another post all together.

Ignore your wife, and what she is doing. She wanted to kick your ass to the curb 2 months ago, why are you so worried about keeping her around? How many girls were you talking to at this party? How many new friends did you make or people did you meet? Ideally, you're so busy being the life of the party that you don't have time to give a shit about what your wife is doing. Make her worry and think about who you're talking to and engaging with. Not by being shady and manipulative, but by being such a high value prize that your wife knows it and has to keep her eye on you.

If you want to enforce some boundries as to how you expect the woman you are with to act, then do it, just be ready to back it up when she calls your bluff. I'd advise you to keep any boundries you do want to establish as "general boundries" that would apply to any woman you are dating. Try to avoid getting specific and making it about her and this guy specifically. As far as you're concerned, you don't even care that this guy exists because you're so much better than him.
