Now I'm not trying to be a negative Nelly but on both sides there will be no second dates. The guys make it clear, the girls on the other hand, well...

Girls tend be live in the moment, and sometimes only in the moment, so having good game like that guy had, he was able to sit down and chat with them for awhile, despite what the girl thinks about the guys appearance.

Guys think more longterm. Let's just set this straight, us men won't date a girl that we are not willing to have a kid with. Time is precious to us, we have no time to just sit and chat with someone we're not attractive too.

Does empathy make you a blue pill guy? It's most likely true that none of the men in the video were attracted to the artificially overweight woman, and many of the men were quite assertive with their disgust. At the same time, one of the guys displayed empathy and less assertive behavior. He was not attracted to her, and probably had no plans of seeing her again, but at the same time did not want to hurt her feelings or make her feel bad.

It does seem that in general: being an empathetic male that cares about other peoples feelings WORKS AGAINST YOU in the sexual marketplace. At the end, you can tell that the props the girl gave him for staying was extremely non sexual and had an "I'm not attracted to you" vibe.

So why is empathy in males unattractive to females? Is it because men had to hunt, and if they showed empathy towards the animal they killed, the family would be at risk of starvation or death? It's a tough thing to understand from an evolutionary standpoint.

This is something I have struggled with because I am naturally empathetic and have a hard time hurting other people. I have a hard time being assertive if I know it can potentially hurt somebodies feelings. If I was in the same situation I would probably not have left because I didn't want to hurt her feelings and thats something thats difficult to change.

I believe the correct response is to be assertive yet curteous. Being too empathetic is indeed a weakness, because its only wasting both of your time and is only delaying the inevitable rejection.
