FUCK THAT NOISE. I could only watch like 15 seconds of that shit.

I've only ever heard the most intolerable of girls quote that bullshit.

For that to be true, your best must compensate for your worst, and then some. If your best is just "not tantrum", GTFO.

True, I say. They just don't change. Their worst is their best.

Shouldn't that work two way if it were true?

My Mom pulled shit like this my whole life, and still pulls shit like this. Only now, when she pulls it, I whip out my phone camera and start recording her. Then she tries to grab the camera, which only serves to hurt her credibility. She calms down pretty quickly. This kind of thing needs to be nipped in the bud.

[–][deleted] 11 points12 points13 points 13 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Out of curiosity, are your parents still together?

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points8 points 13 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Yep. Explanation = they spend a lot of time apart because my Dad works, has hobbies that she doesn't share, and generally controls everything of importance because she's too lazy, undisciplined, and unfocused to take the reins. However, she does keep a nice home, knows how to cook, cooks regularly, does a great job entertaining, and works part time to bring in some extra income. She also is very funny, her antics can be very entertaining. This is another reason that they are together: my dad finds her antics amusing, and will often toy with her to draw out reactions. His favorite tactic: doing something she finds annoying and then pretending he doesn't know that it annoys her. Her tantrums are infrequent, but are disturbing when they occur. Part of the problem is that she drinks coffee and doesn't get enough exercise, so she doesn't sleep well. I've encouraged her to take yoga and meditate for years and she has finally gotten around to doing it. It seems to be having a beneficial effect, but I'll have to wait and see.

Since I've realized certain truths and male / female interactions, I always call her out when I feel she is out of line and I stick to my guns. It seems to work and we get along better.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Oh god- you've just described my parents' relationship, especially the annoying and feigning ignorance part.

"[Sigdur's dad], why did you mix your colored shirts with my white dresses in the wash?!"

"Oh, I'm sorry [Sigdur's mom]; I guess I wasn't paying attention at the time. You're free to do the household's laundry, though."

"You ALWAYS do this! You ALWAYS do this! You don't have ANY RESPECT for me!"

[–]Theophagist 3 points4 points5 points 13 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

There's something to be said about the fact that she's willing to behave that way in front of certain people but not others. I'm not sure what there is to be said but I do think it demonstrates that she is aware of her inappropriate behavior.

[–]Endorsed ContributorrebuildingMyself 1 point2 points3 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

She knows when she'll get away with it vs when she won't. It's that simple.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Oh yeah. I did similar things growing up. Becoming an adult is partly a result of societal repression, so when away from society, people can relax into a more childlike state to express emotions such as anger that they are forbidden to express in public. For example, if you lose in court over a traffic ticket, you may want to scream and yell at the judge, but that will only make your situation worse, so you go home and take it out on your family, assuming you know of no other coping mechanism like yelling at an inanimate object in an empty room and pretending like its the judge.

Can you put a 30 year old woman in time out?

[–]Endorsed ContributorrebuildingMyself 12 points13 points14 points 13 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Ignoring the behavior is essentially the same thing. The guy DID keep his cool, but he should have just pretended she wasn't there after a while. This drives my g/f insane during her outbursts, but the minute she comes back to adult-land, I start engaging her again.

Amen brother, been there divorced that shit. Cost me a bundle. She used to slap the shit out of me and tell everyone I was going to hit her. I NEVER hit a woman in my life, and never intend to.

You might have been better off if you had. As I've said before, my wife tried that shit with me once. Once.

Hit me, I hit back. I don't give a shit if you have a pussy between your legs or not. Do. Not. Hit. Me.

I hear you bro, but at the time I had just returned home from an extended tour in Iraq. I was in the Infantry (trained to kill, not fight back), I had to leave or I would do something to put me in jail for life, so I left.

[–]RedPillScare 4 points5 points6 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

This was one of several reasons I dumped my ex.

[–]Endorsed ContributorrebuildingMyself 1 point2 points3 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Damn, that is crazy. My g/f has come around for the most part. I'd say she's 90% of the way to realizing that it's not a useful tactic to engage with me.

[–]kingssman 10 points11 points12 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yes Yes u can! I had a girl flip her shit on me and I pulled over, told her to get out of the car and I closed the door and drove off. Went around the block and came back to her, she was sobbing and apologetic and asked "are u gonna be good? Will you behave yourself?" With a sobbing nod she said yes and got back into the car and we drove off.

Shit you not, gotta go discipline them like adolescents

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points5 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You sure as hell can

I actually like this video. My take is that his marriage went shitty and he's starting to take corrective action. A moment like this is essentially part of the breaking process guys would need to get used to if they started to corral all the fucked up women in the U.S.

I had a pot bellied pig once that screamed bloody murder on her way to the vet. Demonic sounds I've never heard before. Kids make similar sounds. And to an extent, the movie the Excorcist is really an allegory about a girl becoming a woman and having one fucked up temper tantrum. Bitches need to be broken and this is what it looks like.

I'll tell ya what about that pot-bellied pig. At the time I just couldn't handle the demonic screaming that fucking thing made. Shook my shit up so bad I was almost convinced the pig was right and I was wrong. All you gotta do is stand your ground. Be the alpha.

Edit

I think as much as we want to poke fun at this woman's behavior, I'm theorizing there is like a chance she'll be broken by the husband and become a reasonable woman at some point. Like an 8 year old is different than a 5 year old and you can respect how they're no longer 5. Right? Just a theory...

[–]Endorsed ContributorrebuildingMyself 6 points7 points8 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Bahahhahah! If only all psycho women, upon hitting puberty, had the urge to vomit and fuck herself with a cross. It would make vetting the crazy easy.

[–][deleted] 26 points27 points28 points 13 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

Im glad he recorded her behavior. whatever lies shes going to spread is going to be busted by that video.

Remember Gentlemen- "Women, the most responsible teenager in the house" or in this case the least responsible. she can't even get her oil change for Christ sake.

[–][deleted] 14 points15 points16 points 13 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

I've seen emotional manipulation by some women. But this? She's not acting like a teenager, she's acting like a toddler. Any 30 year old adult acting like this is embarrassing.

[–]Endorsed ContributorrebuildingMyself 11 points12 points13 points 13 years ago (3 children) | Copy Link

It makes you wonder if he was enabling it all this time, only to finally grow a pair and stand up to her. Damage like that would take years to correct.

[–][deleted] 8 points9 points10 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

It's possible, we all swallow the red pill at different times.

[–]thejynxed 0 points1 point2 points 13 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

No, he said in his original posts that she didn't act this way at all until well after they were married.

[–]Endorsed ContributorrebuildingMyself 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yes but my point is that this most likely wasn't the first outburst.

[–]tehripper 2 points3 points4 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Fetal position and all at some points.

[–]lepillrouge[🍰] 11 points12 points13 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Saddest part, she could be my ex. Only difference is my ex was that crazy without booze.

[–][deleted] 12 points13 points14 points 13 years ago (25 children) | Copy Link

I wonder if she was always like this or if its something that developed when they got married. I'm leaning towards the latter, because no sane man would wife that as is. but then again she might of hid it well when they were dating. What are some warning signs that can be used to detect that kind of behavior?

[–]sfstexan 14 points15 points16 points 13 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

What are some warning signs that can be used to detect that kind of behavior?

Marriage.

[–]Endorsed ContributorrebuildingMyself 9 points10 points11 points 13 years ago (14 children) | Copy Link

In all honesty, my current g/f showed very similar behaviors when we first started dating. Crying (fake or not), trantrums, yelling, all to get what she wanted from me. And what did she want?

  1. To make our relationship official on facebook (we already changed our statuses to "relationship" but didn't specify each other publicly. Everyone we knew already knew, I just didn't like giving Big Sister Facebook any more info than necessary). I gave in to this, but it was the last time I ever did.
  2. To lend her my old iPad after I forgot about it and resurrected it to use in the gym for cardio days. She wanted to borrow it to watch shit on it in her apartment. The tantrum I heard on the phone was amazing. I did NOT give in to this one at all.

The trick is to do exactly what this guy did. Treat her like an 11 year old. You DON'T want to encourage that behavior. My g/f obviously got away with it with her ex's (whom she grew bored with, her words, connection perhaps?). But she learned quickly that, after my first slipup, it won't work with me.

So I am guessing she was like this in the past but this guy finally grew a pair and stopped putting up with it.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Asian women are different in that we get what we want subtly. If denied, we'll quietly get revenge; maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow but it'll come.

Ps. Watch out for the really quiet ones-they can go psycho mad

[–]neoaoshi 2 points3 points4 points 13 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

My ex made a big deal of the Facebook thing too! It was the basis for most of our fights. The grudges that woman held onto...

[–]Endorsed ContributorrebuildingMyself 1 point2 points3 points 13 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

Facebook is LIFE for a lot of people, especially my g/f. They live and die by the like-count of their posts (especially women who get 30+ for saying they ate a hamburger or 100+ per bikini shot). I've trained her out of a majority of what pisses me off about it (on the phone during dates, when I'm in mid-sentence talking about something, etc). Here's the basis of her arguments:

  1. Her friends and their b/f's had made it public on Facebook.
  2. I did it with my ex (and didn't want to this time, I really wish I held strong).

Therefore, I was ashamed of us. Female-QED. No convincing otherwise. She was in tears at this point. The lingering white knight in me caved around here.

[–]neoaoshi 1 point2 points3 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Yes. She thought I was ashamed of her! Even though all our Close friends knew we were together. You know the people who actually matter in our lives. She definitely had issues apart from the Facebook thing. Body image issues and history of personal abuse. So I guess her self conscienceness took a hold of her and a frequent basis.

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points7 points 13 years ago (5 children) | Copy Link

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points3 points 12 years ago (1 child) | Copy Link

iirc, the poster of the video says that she turned into a childish bitch after the marriage. Can't find the source for that claim though.

this person is so insane and pathetic that it's amazing she's survived this long.

but, you know, she has a vagina.

"WAAAAAAAAAAAAH I'M HAVING A PANIC ATTACK AHHHHHHHHHH AHHHHHHHHHH AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I SWEAR I'M HAVIN A PANIC ATTACK AND 2 SECONDS LATER I'M COMPLETELY FINE AND WHINING ON FACEBOOK"

I feel like fucking KILLING MYSELF just watching this, between fits of laughter and shock at how ridiculous women can act. Think of all the crazy things men do, blowing each other up, taking over entire countries, blowing THEMSELVES up to prove a point - women do all of this shit only they do it in a self-preserving way TO MEN in their interpersonal relationships.

The most hilarious fucking thing is she says something about having an "interlock thing" on her car - meaning she's been arrested for DUI probably more than once. People like this are to be handled EXACTLY how this guy handled her, not giving in to her whining and not giving her the ridiculous attention she's seeking.

I've KNOWN girls like this, and I've also known their boyfriends - they are almost always intelligent psych. students or just otherwise generally intelligent guys who sympathized with the crazy whiny girl, these girls end up HATING their boyfriends for being such little bitches(as in, having understanding and sympathy for them where really the girl is just acting like a child and shouldn't be treated like anything but a kid having a fit while being laughed at and ignored BECAUSE SHE'S AN ADULT NOT A CHILD ACTUALLY HAVING AN EMOTIONAL BREAKDOWN OVER NOTHING), and trying to cheat on them with people they perceive as being more manly men.

Then these same women wonder why their relationships are unfulfilling and cheap, and why the men they fuck aren't relationship material. LOL. Women are INSANE. I hope this gets posted over to 2XC because seriously, they are insane. The ways that men try to manipulate the world in ways that are unfathomable to women, women try to manipulate other people in ways that are simply unfathomable to men.

Can someone translate what the hell the argument was about? I know she wanted to go to the lake but what was the female-logic justifying it?

[–]lepillrouge[🍰] 36 points37 points38 points 13 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Based on what I've seen elsewhere (Gawker; their comments are bluepill/white knight): dude had been working 60 hours that week. Saturday he was taking care of some needed auto maintenance/other household chores. She also needed to do some of that, but couldn't operate her vehicle, as it has an interlock since her DUI, there's vodka or something in that cup, and her imperative said they were going to the lake, period.

Anyway, she'd been texting/facebooking her family about what an awful, awful man he was, and they support her in the drama, so he's had enough and decides to record her.

He's since filed for divorce and gotten a restraining order.

WOW. So I've seen the screaming, shrieking cunts before but this is...just...wow. I've seen women acting childish in that they're going nuclear over absolutely nothing but I've never seen one actually thrash around and kick their feet like a TODDLER!

Is this common, women literally shrieking childish nonsense in pleading, begging hissy fit temper tantrums?

[–]VeryWideDoucheNozzle 4 points5 points6 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Hamster in its most unadulterated and juvenile form.

Is she a child? I'm confused. She's acting like a 5 year old.

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points6 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

He should take her to the lake... in the way that Michael Corleone had Fredo taken to the lake.

The thing that really hurts me are the youtube comments. I am genuinely saddened by what they reflect.

well if you guys care to listen She said she had got all her stuff done so she could have time with her husband on the weekend and spend time out on the lake together but no he makes an excuse that they cant go so its obvious why she is upset when she had looked forward to time with her husband all week then she said needed cigarettes he would even stop for them but kept mentally tormenting her it does make him look bad and any woman that sees this will think twice about a relationship with him.

Looks like husband needs to go back to grade school and learn how to play nice with the girls. Yes shes wrong for loosing her cool, but that's where you step up as her husband stay calm and try to calm her down. Don't antagonize her in a calm manner (that is a form of emotional abuse) and you certainly do not put her on YouTube like a child seeking revenge. If you do a video it should be to help her change privately NOT publicly.

Honestly, this disgusts me because he RECORDS something that is personal and should be between them not the whole world. He's purposefully trying to piss her off that's obvious. He's not listening to her and making her sound crazy and all of you actually agree with this shit? Sure cursing at him and screaming isn't going to help but he's also being a dick. It's just like a man to do something like this so everyone thinks the woman is crazy and he's supposedly the "good guy".

It BURNS!

[–]pialox 2 points3 points4 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

You know I would have caved. Taken her out on the lake and fucking drown her.

What a child.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

So many comments are blaming the man. "He must have done something to make this delicate flower act like a psycho!!!"

LOL

[–]russgarrett 2 points3 points4 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I think the guy kept his cool very well. If the wife truly just cared about just spending time with her husband, she would have made the best of their Saturday whatever they were doing together. She was behaving like an addict about getting to the lake. Ny bet there is som other guy she wants to be in the vicinity of who avoids her like the clap. Cuckoo for CoCo Puffs.

[–]f1manoz 1 point2 points3 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

What a fucking child.

[–]BigDeal2103 1 point2 points3 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

She might have been spending eternity at that lake if I was the one in the truck with her. The bottom of the lake that is. Life us too short for this kind of shit. She better be able to shoot fireworks out of her snatch while singing Yankee Doodle Dandy for me to spend more than 5 minutes with her.

Implying all women aren't capable of this type of behavior. Which they are.

[–]zombiejesus1 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

That can be prevented if he doesn't let her get her way. About 50% of men would have just bent over and said "yes honey".

[–]danvolodar 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

[–]mra4ever 0 points1 point2 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

"I want I want" thats all they know how to say. This woman was most likely spoiled her whole life, so now she just expects to get way or else. You now have millions of women who don't feel like they should grow up. I bet money not once does this woman think about what her husband wants, its all about her. The reason why men don't act this way is because by this age we're used to not getting our way so its not a huge shock to our systems.

The second they don't get their way 100% of the time, its unfair, or its abuse. Women are nothing more than overgrown children, which is why we'll never take them seriously.

[–][deleted] 11 points12 points13 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I would too. There's no way in hell i would let my wife get away with that kind of behavior.

Unless she is has serious mental disorders her behaviour is not acceptable from a grown adult of her age. Her actions shouldn't be treated with any sort of respect, she deserves the mocking he gave her for having a more immature tantrum than my prepubescent cousin.

[+]TreephantBOA -22 points-21 points-20 points 13 years ago (8 children) | Copy Link

Maybe she's having a really rough ride. Maybe her boyfriend got her drunk as hell last night and woke her up with three cups of coffee. The guy's an asshole. And... so are you based on your need to explain bullshit.

[–]salami_inferno 10 points11 points12 points 13 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

You're making lots of assumptions here. He confirmed what the issue was several times with her, which was that he wasn't taking her to the lake for the day. If that wasn't the issue she should speak up. You're putting on a show of some great mental gymnastics to justify her behaviour as anything other then ridiculous. Even if she was upset about something else this is not how grown ups communicate their issues, it's how children do it. And since you jumped straight into calling me an asshole because I think that sort of behaviour shouldn't be treated with respect in an adult speaks a great deal about you.

And... so are you based on your need to explain bullshit.

That's funny when it's coming from a guy who was just trying to explain away some bullshit behaviour.

When you're dealing with someone with a major anxiety issue their brai is on overload. get a fucking education before you respond to me again.

[–]salami_inferno 10 points11 points12 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

I grew up with a bipolar aunt, a father with borderline personality disorder, an alcoholic mother and a sister that kept trying to kill herself. I wouldn't be commenting on this if I didn't have experience with it you arrogant fuck.

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points7 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Did you notice the part where she screams "I'm having an anxiety attack" to calmly going on her phone about 10 seconds later?

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points4 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

When you're dealing with someone with a major anxiety issue their brai is on overload. get a fucking education before you respond to me again.

Three typographical errors in a sentence that contains the phrase "get a fucking education." Impressive.

[–]p3ndulum 0 points1 point2 points 12 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

How is this guy an asshole? Because he doesn't cave in and take her to the lake? He says he has stuff he has to get done, and she loses her mind.

If he agrees to take her, that will just reinforce, in her mind, that all she has to do to get what she wants is cry like a little baby. That's not a healthy way to function.

And so what if she's had a bad day. He isn't responsible in any way to fix that.

[+]Irish_Twin -22 points-21 points-20 points 13 years ago (6 children) | Copy Link

she is obviously having a bad day. I'm assuming there is a lot of build up towards her massive fit. Nobody would commit or want to be in a relationship with someone like that. We dont know how he is towards her when the camera isn't rolling though.

[–]veggie_girl 19 points20 points21 points 13 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Nope. It's all fake. Pretty obvious too. And when she instantly calms down and starts talking shit on her phone it was 100% confirmed.

[–]Endorsed ContributorrebuildingMyself 13 points14 points15 points 13 years ago (0 children) | Copy Link

Meh, I've seen plenty of girls pull out the tear factory to aid them in a fight just to immediately calm down once it suits them.

[+]TreephantBOA -23 points-22 points-21 points 13 years ago (2 children) | Copy Link

Well... I gave you an upvote for seeing that she was having a bad day... I'm pissed at her rat ass piece of shit husband who thought her need to chill out in nature was fucked up. Like i said. If he were in front of me he'd be beaten hard.

/U/TreephantBOA is another one of those people that think women can do no wrong and are desperately trying to find a way to blame the husband for his wife's actions.

He/she ran out of things to say so they just started to throw out insults.
