Contrary to the comments so far, I don’t view this as a shit test. I believe it’s a comfort test. She wants to keep being a SAHM for kids in high school without the threat of a hotter woman who actually adds value. So, when you start getting leaner, it scares her in this way (threatens her security if OP’s SMV goes up too much).. She sees you getting momentum, and if you are making $, hot women for sure will hit on you when you get lean. Your lifts are decent, but you have way more than 15 to lose at 5’7”.

Do it for yourself

As far as your response, AM is your best bet. Chuckle and say “you think so?” If she keeps pushing fog and pressure flip it.... if you’re not advanced enough for those, just STFU. Then keep Your foot on the gas.

The latter. By definition the shit test if taken seriously is failed. You lose attraction. The shit test if responded to appropriately will increase attraction: amused mastery , exaggeration, (agree&amplify) etc.

The shit test must be seen as an invitation to tease her and flirt with her. Hit on her. It’s her way of saying “hey I am noticing you. Now let me throw this curve ball womanese feminine energy at you to see if you know how to deal with it and if you’re Man enough.”

Best way to start handling shit tests is STFU and dont acknowledge it if you dont have anything fun/witty to say.

So, had the same thing happen to me. Started bulking (for my puny frame) and added some mass and after a 6 month bulk, I decided to cut a little. Got the same thing "don't loose to much, I don't like soy boys.". Obvious shit test and just ignored her.

Go on another 5 month bulk cycle and 3 weeks before we leave for Vegas I go into another cut. I wanted sub 10% bf while there. However, this time not negative word is said. She's rubbing my abs, tracing her finger on my Apollo belt, and posting pictures of us in bathing suits on her gram. Probably the horniest I've ever seen her. Funny thing is, I'm lower bf now than I was after the first cut.

Also, in the beginning (like month or 2 into lifting) she asks me, how big do you plan on getting? Maybe a shit test, but she asked nice enough, so I directly answered "Not sure, I've never tried to get big.". She replied "well don't get too big, I don't like beefy men". I shrugged and walked away since it turned into a shit test.

Now, she runs my arms and touches my chest daily. Poor thing, she just can't help herself but to swolest me.

Morale of the story is, stop listening to her words.

Yeah, every woman says that shit and then starts eyefucking you when the abs come out. My wife did too. DEERing is the worst thing you can do. Your response looks like a mild excuse/explain, but wasn't terrible. But you are talking too much. Just show you're not in her frame, and that you're OI enough where you don't care if she doesn't find you attractive (hint: this implies abundance and is very attractive). Better things:

STFU: Just say "yeah ok babe", and change subject.
Deflect: "I don't care/So what/That's cool" optionally adding "this is something I want to do/something for me". Change subject: "Aww... you're so cute when you get like this"

Why do you care? Are you doing this for you or for her? Just ignore or laugh it off. Use amused mastery " you don't like it, but my girlfriend does." She might laugh, she might call you an asshole. Either way, who cares. Your map is the only arbiter of what is and isn't acceptable.

I got this a few months back, "you know, I'm not into guys that look too skinny" (I am not too skinny now. But I was obese 2 years ago, as in nearly 50% BF, as my post history will show, she is still over weight now (we were the fat couple) but finally losing weight - she started dieting after she realized my change wasn't a fluke and my SMV rise has crushed hers) so this wasn't about my being too skinny, this was about me being thinner than her and no longer having control / the Sole Agency of the Pussy, dread, etc, etc.

Then this past weekend, I jumped out of the shower, and I saw her sneaking glaces when I was toweling off, having just got back from the gym I had the "pump" after a strong workout, so my lower BF (about 13-14% now) and muscle gains in 2019, were max'd with the pump.

Not a hour later, I got the "you know, I'm not into guys that look like body builder types" (immediately thought: I'm no way near a body builder, WTF is she thinking, then realized - stop, just like before, this isn't about logic)

My answer was similar, I believe, both times, with a sly smile of course: "that's a shame... because I feel even better than I look"

Either version of this "new me" was a better specimen than the old me. So don't hamster on "why isn't she happy for me" or any other logical lack of supportive BS. Dont' look for compliments (no external validation). You know you look good. Period. She'll hamster on being lower SMV compared to the new you, and how this newer/higher SMV you changes the power dynamic in your relationship. Remember, females are good at non verbal comms, and how you present to the world is in that domain. .
