In this post I will just quote and interpret wisdom from the French philosopher Frederic Delavier.

Grown men and women want to be 'happy and fullfilled' in life, they build things together, and for the most part they have kids.

eventually, after the kids are there, the relationship turns sour and we see cheating, divorce, 'post-wall' women, single motherhood, fathers with no rights to seeing their kids, and all sorts of tough shit.

but it really is like it should be. the purpose of nature is to carry on life no matter what. genes do not care if your marriage turns sour. nor about which values will go to your offspring.

the only thing that ties men and women in life's scheme is to craft other human beings and perpetuate the species.

it's not supposed to make us happy nor fullfilled.
