Q4ALL: Why low status men consider women the prize but once social status goes up the whole thing shifts to men being the prize.

It's interesting to see when in a group of low value men and women they will generally talk about women as they were gods gift but once both genders attain social status the tables turn the guys will be considered the prize most of the time as portrayed in the media.

My personal answer is due to men's thirst. When they are low value they can never get it but a high value male can have his pick (so does a woman but even when she was low value she could).

Men will always care about women's looks and that is something that will not change regardless of social standing whilst social status gives men power and the 80/20 rule comes into play.
