I think a man can only be BB if he makes significantly more than the woman he is in a relationship with. A simple solution to this is to place a woman’s career and salary high on the priority list when assessing her for a committed relationship, and if needed, drop the requirements on looks a small amount.

A counter argument to this would be that if the woman makes about the same or more in terms of money, then her attraction to the man would drop. But if the man is higher than her in SMV and gives her quality sex, that should offset that drop in attraction.

I’ve been with my girlfriend for close to 2 years now and it never crossed my mind that she is in it for the money. That’s mainly because she makes about the same as me.
