Feminism has been a paradigm shift in human relationships. I believe even the most Red Pilled Dude Bro MGTOW can admit that Feminism has improved the relationship between men & women for the better in the sense that women are no longer slaves to be married off and be baby making machines that cooks a hot plate and gets fucked whenever the man wants. That's a legitimate complaint and you can't fault someone for wanting to get out of that raw deal.

However where most of us will split is modern feminism. Not even going to go there because it will detract from the topic at hand. I and I think many other men are finding that Society has focused on uplifting Women and LGBTQ Community so much that society has practically ignored Cis-Men and Boys.

I'm not saying we should get the exact same upliftment as other historically oppressed communities, but it seems like we don't really get talked about at all other than to be critiqued. Everyone once in a while we'll get someone to talk about depression and suicide and now selflessness. But for the most part, we're mostly being told what to do but not really being shown how to do it. If that makes any sense.

Things like consent. Is pretty straight forward for the most part. Sure we can go into the weeds of false accusations and the nuances of intimacy but that's another thread.

But then you get into the more nuanced things like toxic masculinity, gender dynamics, the. We rules of dating and now we're all confused and need more guidance on what that actually means for us. Ok you want us to be less topically masculine but there are traits in masculinity that may be percieved as masculine to you but actually aren't it's just how we are. Yes we are aggressive. So is being aggressive ok or is that toxic? And then you get gender critics that tell us all of this is just socially made up bullshit. So we try to adapt to this new thing and then we find out the guys who don't give a fuck about all the the aged thinking are getting all the ass and now we're extra confused because we were told we should change to something else but the guys were aren't changing at all are getting sex left and right.

So you can imagine how a boy or a young man still trying to find himself not only as an individual but someone who identifies as a cis-man and what that means for him. And then you see the statistics of how young men are not moving out later in life. They're not as successful a lot of their female counter parts. We're having less sex. And then you addnon suicide rates and all that jazz.

We're a mess. Feminists claim that they're for equality and that feminism is for everyone and that men benefit from feminism too but I don't see any benefits.

I remember watching a YouTube video that was sponsored Mtv. (Forgot the name.) She was trying to tell cis men it was ok to hold hands with other men and we shouldn't feel gay for doing it. Now if that was the message, ok fine. If you wanna do a Brohands walking down the street, Knock yourself out. But then they went beyond that and it felt like a man trying to convince his girlfriend to have sex with another girl in a threesome. Like what the fuck I'm not into it. Cool for you if you are. But it's not for me. I'm down with a BroHug. I'm down with Playful Wrestling. Hell I can even take a shower with other men at the gym. Plenty of space for everyone. But when I go to the stalls to pee I skip a urinal because that's common courtesy that even gay men give other gay men. Because It's The Goddamn Man Code.
