Not him personally, but its the principle of it all that's offensive. The message Republicans have sent to girls/women that have been raped or abused, that "your pain and your feelings don't matter" and if you're a white straight cis man in power, you can get away with anything.

Even the sexual assaults aside, he's a horrible person and totally incompetent who shouldn't be anywhere near a position of power (supports NSA spying, anti-choice to the point of wanting to overturn Roe v Wade, against regulating the EPA, hostile to secularism, etc).

Being that his attitude while being examined was (lets say) not very respectable, he could set precedence. He doesn't exactly champion women's issues so i would say half the population would be affected.
