In all of my dating, men don't really appreciate a know it all "interesting" woman. I've found that the claim of wanting an "interesting" woman is that they really just want a woman who keeps herself busy, as opposed to a woman who does nothing but complain about trivial things.

They don't really want a woman who will lecture him about astrophysics or tell him how to do things because she's "smart" and "interesting." They just mean a woman who thinks about other things besides what pisses her off.

Men who have this claim of an interesting woman still appreciate soft qualities like being pleasant and fun to be around. That's why no amount of "know it all intelligence" is attractive to a man, instead being happy and fun and pleasant is.
