Incel here. Followed the whole TRP deal of increasing one's SMV (Losing weight, hitting the gym, dressing better, etc). Let's just say I capped out and am still struggling. I think this is solely due to my somewhat below average face and height. Luckily I still have a head full of hair unlike my peers within my age group (Late 20's- early 30's).

To be honest, I don't think I have that high of standards. I just am just not attracted to overweight women and women with children-- which are the only women I'm genuinely attracting, unless I travel abroad. It was much easier when I was over in south america when it came to dating and having casual sex. Which I haven't had any in almost four years now.

All in all, I just want to say that not all of us incels are fat or virgins and sometimes losing or gaining weight is simply not enough to cure one of inceldom.

I'm an incel who has tried prostitutes and all it did for me was make me feel lonelier. Out of more than 150 sessions I realized I didn't want sex as much as I wanted intimacy. The more I did it the bigger the void became and with it the desperation to fill it.

Yesterday my best friend called me and told me of how he got a new GF. All he did was share his experience to me, not to rub it in my face. He was very happy and I don't resent him. Yet knowing from my friend what normal people experience in relationships made go suicidal. I went from being ok to straight up wanting to hang myself. The older I get the worse I feel and more logical suicide becomes.

There is some discussion here regarding seeing prostitutes. Here would be my arguments for a so-called 'incel' hiring hookers.

Firstly, you would learn that for all we build it up, for all the time we spend thinking about it, for all the time we talk about it...sex is not a big deal. It's not even necessarily always more enjoyable than masturbating! But it's just playing a game with someone's body. It doesn't even last that long, although obviously there are things you can do to prolong things. But it's not like it lasts hours. Once you actually fuck someone you will see that it's not a big deal and the act itself is nothing to worry about or be concerned with.

Secondly, the argument that fucking a hooker doesn't count because she doesn't want you seems to make sense. But the reality is that women will never want you as much as you want them. Almost no man gets to experience this. It's always a struggle, it's always mostly rejection and occasional moments of encouragement, it's like that for everyone.

And then, on another level, some guys marry women who are mostly there for their money, but they must still get to fuck them. I assume they do, anyway. So I don't see what the big deal is about fucking someone who you've paid for. It won't help you attract someone, but nothing will do that other than persistence, if you're anything other than extraordinarily attractive.

Cmv: all incels are actually volcels.

I saw a post on r/foreveralone asking if overweight men were actually incel, since being overweight is change able. By that logic, everything is changeable. It takes months or years of self disciple to lose a considerable amount of weight. You could say the same thing about being poor, not having any accomplishments or skills, etc.

Everything is changeable given some time and effort. So therefore, no one is celibate against their will. Everyone could change their circumstances.

What purpose does that sub serve except for wallowing in their own self pity; rationalizing away any kind of self reflection/awareness or self improvement; pulling each other further down and creating more problems by focusing on how much women and normal people suck?

So lately I've been getting to body type analysis and figuring out my wardrobe shit. And I came across Kibbe Types for men, specifically short lean men, known as Gamines. Pretty much this style is about leaning into and emphasising your boyish charm, rather than trying to over compensate with super masculine elements. In the context of cute boyish clothes, your natural masculine features stand out more. But if you try to wear a burly beard and flannel, you draw attention away from your naturally attractive features. I would really recommend any guys who see their height as their only problem do more research into the topic since I am mostly familiar with the female version.
