Ian Ironwood has always been a RPer that I enjoyed, despite that some of his posts can be rather long.

Ok I read the entire thing. The husband was clearly mentally ill. The wife was clearly incapable of being there for him and clearly selfish. The money comment was absolutely out of line, but so was his reaction. There were clearly deeper issues at play, on both sides, that we know nothing about.

I am not sure how this shows "what the red pill is for" (other than that it is for men who have been emasculated or mistreated by women). Can you elaborate as to what we are supposed to take from this? I'm not BP by the way, def not RP but I consider myself to be pretty neutral. Also a newb to this stuff so please be kind.

This is the most interesting part for me. You have something here. All the talk about men being logical and women being reactive, is really only conscious facade. Underneath, it's a different story, practically inverted. Instead of creating a war out of these observed differences between men and women, why not use the info to our mutual advantage? People who have figured out how to do this are the ones in happy relationships. I get how RP needs to be tough love. But throwing women under the bus is a short sighted strategy.

It appears that Ian Ironwood advocates 'the Puerarchy' (fucking terrible name).

The Puerarchy, for those who are new to the term, is a Manosphere term-of-art used to describe the phenomenon most recently called out as “ExtendedAdolescence” (as this harsh assessment of the group by the Guardian Angels, of all people, points out): the tendency for young men to spend a decade or so getting drunk, high, laid, and wiped out from video game exhaustion and porn marathons instead of applying nose to grindstone, getting a college education that will allow them to support their future ex-wives.

Going down this road for a sustained period of time is a massive mistake.
