About 95% are still learning and 5% are the teachers, so yes, the majority of TRP are losers and there's nothing wrong with it so long as they are constantly battling to improve themselves rather than wallow in self-pity.

This post is a run-of-the-mill "all TRP men must be loser virgin neckbeards who live in their mom's basement" rant, so OP isn't really looking to have their mind changed. Low-effort shitposts like this (and the shameless circlejerking they spawn) should be at least worthy of temp-bans.

For anyone who is genuinely curious about TRP's demographics, here are a few thoughts:

Truly low-value men -- those who aren't just overweight or skinny, but genuinely ugly; those who don't have anything going for them and don't have the ability or drive to get something going for them; those who are so far outside of mainstream norms (for whatever reason) that they're going to have serious struggles with women no matter what they do -- won't have much use for TRP, because they can put in all the work in the world and still get little to no results. They aren't going to stick around because it's not useful to them. It's the "ugly guys on dating sites" paradox; there's a reason they'd try it, but not a reason for them to stay.
The men who will get the most value out of TRP -- the ones who'll stick around, and who'll defend it in discussions like these -- are mostly just average guys. They were driven to TRP by not having as much success with women as they wanted (note how "not as much as they wanted" =/= "virgin neckbeard") and/or getting burned bad in a breakup or divorce. They're not as significantly disadvantaged as the first group of men, so with a reasonable amount of drive and effort they can make noticeable strides in how physically attractive they are and how attractive of a personality they have. These are the guys who can lose 30 pounds and be quite a bit better looking, and who can develop a more interesting lifestyle and learn how to present himself in the most attractive possible light. They're going to report their success, offer tips to other guys who are going through the same process, and defend ideas they've seen work in their own lives. These are the guys who'll stick around.
The one person who's actually Skyped with several dozen red pillers is /u/GayLubeOil. That's the closest there is to an objective look at a non-trivial number of actual TRP readers. Every time I've seen him discuss the demographics of those Skype conversations he's said they're mostly average guys, but don't take my word for it.

In short, actual low-value men aren't going to get enough out of TRP to stick around. Guys who are about average, and who came to TRP to get better with women/not get burned again, are not only more likely to stick around but by-definition more common than low-value men. It's reasonable to infer that the latter group is more representative of TRP than the former, and the one person who's actually seen and talked to a significant amount of TRP readers largely backs that up.

All of those "guys date out of their league" studies miss a really vital point. Women are interested in a relatively small number of men regardless of how attractive they are because they are more particular about their types.

Let's say a guy is a 6 because he is dating a 6. That's how it works - our rating depends on what we can land. His average rating is probably going to be a lot lower than "6," because the 19 sixes he dated before her rated him as a 4.

But she still rated him as a six.

It isn't that women are all interested in the same top 20% of men. It's that only a small percentage of women are interested in each individual man. This means, if you use an average, all men are underrated. All men are shooting for women above their average rating.

All men will be rated lower than their girlfriends on average. It doesn't matter. If she thinks he's a six, he can get a six. He isn't "shooting out of his league" by dating sixes.

I can't think of people as low-value. Who am I to assess someone else's value? And it seems to me that a lot of braggardly confident guys are at trp, and they don't come across as insecure.

I'm afraid this post reminds me of the type of red pill post that paints whole groups of women in the worst possible light. Such as the one that called all single mothers scum of the earth. And a thousand others.

Come to think of it, due to terpers accepting posts like that by red pill leaders over at the red pill, they fully deserve posts like this. You get back what you give out.

Here is what you need to ask yourself when looking at these studies. "would these studies have been published if the genders were switched?". And the answer to all of those "studies" is "no". I do believe the Manosphere attracts a lot of low value and insecure men, but also average men that are shooting a little too far above their league to have a high chance of success. And I mean as a whole package, not just looks. A long time ago I made a checklist that probably describes at least some of the problem that Manosphere/RP/whatever guys face:

Why Some Men Fail With Women - Age 22+ (some younger males are exempt from a few of these till they hit 22)

Some combination of: Unfit (average US male, age 30 bodyfat is 27% as per CDC DEXA data)

Poor dress, styling and hygiene (cheap/poor-fitting clothing, bad habits, laziness, no money for quality self-care)

*Above 2 = not maximizing looks where they are under your control and really count (survey and attraction research based evidence exists)

Under-educated (no college degree, useless degree or degree from lackluster college)

Un-driven/unambitious (lack of passion and/or no career aspirations .. possibly connected to the above .. unable to explain your work in an interesting way)

Boring (no worldly knowledge, no interesting hobbies/interests/skills and no ability to make them interesting to others .. video games, sports, internet crap doesn't count)

*Above 3 = likely low income earner = low or no options to explore new things and share the experiences with others ; unable to afford high quality clothing

All of the above = lack of REAL confidence/charisma/charm and inability to show emotions or escalate sexually ; lack of romance skills

PUA/TRP/etc. participants falsely believe they have the above - when they really do not - which leads to fake confidence, arrogance and illusions of grandeur

**Lack of respectable career and/or social circle limits quality dating pool (pre-selection missing) ; meeting complete strangers often results in flakes due to low interest

Therefore they are generally unattractive potential mates, lacking the qualities which naturally attract women

If you had many of these traits - you would naturally attract women through basic human interactions

They put interactions with women as a priority over enjoying their work and other life activities

They are clueless about what they want in a female partner and/or only value relatively superficial aspects of women

They are just "average Joes" … but have unrealistically high expectations for a female partner

They don't understand that a human relationship is about give and take - not a one way street

The majority are younger, inexperienced, or simply frustrated. However the OP overplays their hand by posting links about men generally and then trying to say these are red pill phenomena, implying that these somehow don't apply to bloopers.

And it is a massive bit of hamstering - but a common blue pill refrain about TRP only works on insecure women - that a guy with a soft harem is a low value man sleeping with even lower value women.

Some MGTOWs who are omegas fancy themselves as sigmas who "choose" to not be with women, that much is for sure.

And most of the red pill guys I have heard from love sluts, they just don't want to LTR them.

Attractiveness in men, unlike in women, is a mix of personality/status/looks so even women will only be missing a part to evaluate when seeing a picture and rating a guy.

For all we know the guy who you think is overestimating himself gets better feedback than you think, making him accurate.

If she's fucking him it's because he's attractive enough - her being insecure makes her easier imo. She probably sleeps with Chads too, who knows.

The difference between hamstering and what many guys on trp do is that they're trying to improve their position, and they're acting "confident" like every subreddits tells them to btw.

You wouldn't find red pill if you didn't have issues to start with, but that's not something they should be kicked on the ground for.

So red pillers are "insecure" and think they're more attractive than they really are at the same time? The entire point of TRP is increasing your value so by definition if they were high-value they wouldn't be there. When men have a problem they tend to look for solutions, might be a foreign concept for you.

What does insecure mean by the way?

They talk about not wanting "sluts who slept around in college" when in reality it's because many of these girls are the hottest of them all and red pillers can't attain these women because they're too ugly or poor and they're insecure that their n-count is lower than those women's n count .

What do you mean by want? It says a lot when you think promiscuity directly equals attractiveness. I would definitely say there is no relation between those two for women.

This is the classic "you are not a real man" shaming tactic. Virginity is universally valued, deal with it.
