I admit it frustrates me when TRPillers and certain Blue Pillers make it sound like women almost never worked in the past, had no responsibilities and didn't do anything except being parasitic.

By all means if someone wants to be parasitic and do pretty much nothing or if someone wants a partner like that, I don't care, but this is not an accurate assessment of how the world worked in the past. (I use the term parasitic because it's what was used in the Manipulated Man)

Sure most men had more responsibilities and they had to fight in wars and do tougher jobs in a lot of cases, but women and especially lower class women were always working. The feminists that make it ssound like women were never allowed to work in the past are wrong. In general the women who didn't work either didn't have to because they were well off or didn't want to or were way too busy with housework.

There were women in factories ever since the industrial revolution and there are documents that show a lot of women helped in the fields way before it. I don't know about you guys but a lot of older grandmothers I know either worked before they got married or even continued after that. The thing is women's work was not always acknowledged because it was unofficial (example: is helping out your husband in the bakery without him paying you recognized officially as a job? No) My paternal grandmother was working in factories when she was 12.

(I just made this thread because some people say women in the past were parasitic, never had to worry about anything, never had any responsibility etc.)
