I noticed that (non closeted) gays seem to be generally in a better mood and chattier compared to straight guys. I was thinking that this can be credited to the fact that they don't have to live up to women's expectations and can have a varied sexual life with multiple partners (assuming they live in a densely populated urban area with a large enough gay community) and many occasions of casual sex withouth having to jump through hoops like we heterosexual betas have to. Average looking gays can easily have a triple digit sex count without spending 90% of their free time trying to get laid or aggressively competing with each other in every facet of life as average looking straight men do if they want such a high sex count. We have to negotiate our attractivity to women to get sex while for gays it's a lot easier. Some of you BPers probably think men are somehow forced by the dominant culture to want a pronounced sexual variety but I still maintain we are biologically wired that way. As for LTR, despite still having the usual problems that come with relationships, I would guess gay men don't have the same pressure placed upon them to be strong, confident, stoic and assertive that straight guys have from women. in fact I do believe that women are the major enforcers of gender roles for men. all those things might contribute to make non closeted gay men less stressed out and happier that straight guys.
