I see a lot of merit in some of the concepts espoused by TRP. Frame is a big one - women do not want to be stuck mothering a man child, they need emotional security - knowing that their partner is calm, collected and mature, can handle varying emotional extremes and can be depended on without doubts. Hypergamy is another one - not necessarily that women are seeking the Golden Alpha Penis to settle down with and marry, more that women are selective - it is more fulfilling to be in a relationship with the highest calibre of man out there they can find once every ten years than hook up with random average men every other week.

From my own experience, I have found that women abhor a man who cannot think for himself, who follows cookie cutter "strategies" rather than face risks and grow. From what I have seen, it is very hard for women to trust a man who is unsure of himself, constantly "advice seeking" in order to succeed.

My question is this: do you view TRP'ers as blind followers who are unwilling to take risks, let go of their emotional security blanket?

It seems that the same criticisms directed at TRP'ers were aimed at "provider" types in the past who try to impress women with their financial status or standing in the community (think of the "good boy" accountant who sings choir at the local church, hanging around with old ladies all the time after sermons). It is not that these "good boys" are goodie two shoes which lead to them being considered undesirable, it was the blind belief they had that being a good boy with a job made them a "catch".
